Oh me too and maternal health is one of my areas of expertise (I am not a provider, I am a public health professional). I am also so enraged by the AHCA. It will allow states to consider matermal care and contraception coverage optional in insurance policies. Pregancy, C-sections, postpartum depression, irregular

“We need money so we can stop taking care of half the population. Thanks!”

Just like everything republican this is about punishing women and particularly poor women.

Well it was either that or “Grab-Em-By-The-Pussy” (for-profit chain of strip-mall businesses under Texas government contract)

Demanding millions in order to not pay.

Is it called “Healthy Texas Woman” because that’s exactly how many women it will help?

I think this might be peak Republican.

Healthy Texas Woman... sounds like a joke.

‘Healthy Texas Woman’ sounds like a country song about a chick who likes to eat barbecue.

YOU MUST BE FUCKING KIDDING ME... They want to be paid for defunding an organization that helps women, in a state with a very bad record of doing so, in a country with increasingly scandalous levels of maternal mortality. We really need the pitchforks and fucking torches, bitches.

And you know Billy McFarland bragged (and probably still does) about how these models wanted to fuck him while completely ignoring the fact he paid them for their time and social media access.

They’d better join the lawsuits.

The only people who seem to have been paid were the Instagram models. They got the benefit of being paid and being told to not show up on the island.

“We’re not asking anyone to remain employed. We’re saying that we can no longer continue payroll, so we understand if that means you’re leaving the company. If people want to stay and help out, we’re of course willing to do that.”

Maybe they are ALL INTERNS... and will get paid with “EXPERIENCE” lol i’m poking fun at places that offer internships and do not pay people.

I’m struggling with how this is legal. You have to pay legally hired employees for work performed, don’t you? And you can’t “employ” someone while paying less than minimum wage (which I’m pretty sure $0 is), right? So.......

Clearly that was JSess’s handiwork.

Can’t imagine.

Illiteration
