Thanks. I’m not sure I fully follow, but I’ll take your work for it!

“Knicks fans boo every draft pick”

What does it mean to “make back domestic gross?” Domestic gross is a type of revenue.

I used to work with a lot of clinically-diagnosed sociopaths and Warren Sapp’s demeanor and affect always made me think he was one of them.

Phil has definitely packed on the pounds, but in this particular picture, I believe the flabby, useless, protuberance at his midsection is just Little Jimmy Dolan.

This isn’t ‘Nam, Walter. There are rules.

This is basic Maslow Hierarchy of Needs stuff. She’s talking about how we all deserve to be self-actualized when the majority of the world is still trying to fulfill Levels 1 and 2. The fact that she doesn’t recognize this tells me how badly out of touch she is.

What do you think McFarlane is satirizing? What is he trying to use his humor to say?

Sounds like you’ve actually got a fairly strong opinion for somebody who claims to “not have a dog in the fight” and started the conversation by asking people to help you understand something.

Love’s numbers were mostly better than Wiggins’, and that was with being the 2nd (probably 3rd) scoring option while Wiggins got to be a stud on a crappy team.

I agree with your philosophy that we should seek happiness in the little things we do, but that’s different than what Jones said, which was “we deserve to be happy all the time.” That sense of entitlement can almost only come from somebody who is wildly out of touch.

This will shock you, but even big, studly dudes who can get laid on their own (like you!) sometimes pay for sex.

If this guy’s job title is not “National Sales Director,” I’ll be flabbergasted.

I like Rashida Jones, but she is so incredibly out of touch.

I know we can’t have dissenting opinions without being accused of being a “truther” or having a “hot take,” but video doesn’t lie.

If you asked hardcore Spider-Man fans to list ten things that most characterize Peter Parker/Spider-Man, I don’t think anybody would say “he’s white!” so in what way would casting a non-white actor compromise the character?

The definition of the word “bro” has expanded to mean “any white male under the age of 35 who is either better looking or having more fun than a blogger.”

I recognize I’m in the minority, but Jurassic World and Mad Max weren’t that different to me. Yes, JW is more of a popcorn flick aimed at families, but both were over-the-top spectacles (in a good way) with very little in the way of character development.
