100% Agreed. Metas take the fun out of these types of games. I much prefer to make very odd builds, like my current Necro Pet Tank, that does amazing damage and has a bigger tank than some popular Barbarian builds. Stupid meta players would say “that’s not efficient” and they get fuck right off. Do I find it fun? Yes.

Was about to say this, from C-3PO’s reasponses, R2 has quite the rude mouth on him.

“You probably don’t know this, but …”

This one is hard to find replacements for, and just tossing out a random factoid is awkward in general. Is this basically saying that you shouldn’t even toss out factoids that you may have recently heard? I always found them as nice conversation starters...

I don’t see a problem with it, “the game does [very] little to encourage you to from actually doing so.”

The words in brackets are unnecessary, and without them the grammar is still fine.

Hard mode is oddly easier than normal mode. Sure, you can’t use dump words to knock out more letters, but it narrows words down a lot quicker in my experience.

You can lift down if upside down! xD

They don’t allow men to show their nipples, either. It has nothing to do with women, just the wording sucked in the quote.

They don’t even allow males to show their nipples, this isn’t an equality or sexism thing. Just poor wording in the quote.

lol, it’s like no one played the launches of any previous Battlefield. This has been the smoothest launch so far. Hell, BF3 and BF4 were literally unplayable (literally, servers barely worked at all for months after launch), BF1 and BFV weren’t much better.

You’d lose half of FFXIV’s content in singleplay, and probably 80%+ of FFXI’s content, as FFXI is entirely built around playing in a party, very few classes can solo the majority of the game.

Thankfully there are ways for PC players to play it still, and mods to translate everything.

Older than the 80's? Since “Sike” has been used at least since then.

Welcome to language. It evolves, whodathunk? Though “Sike” has existed since at least the 80's, while “Psyche” and “Psych” have also been used often. “Sike” is the more common slang variation.

“Sike” was actually used as far back as the 80's, afaik. All three have been correct for a long time.

“Psyche”, “Psych” and “Sike” have all been correct for many many years. (Even as far back as in 80's films using “Sike!” in their subtitles)

Final Fantasy also had Max Potions in certain games in the series, FYI. lol

It was literally never marketed as a singleplayer game, lol. Hell, even when it was being teased, it was being teased as “Square’s new online shooter”

Nice job being an armchair developer. There is literally no way to prepare for launch for “online service” games, which is why 99% do not have smooth launches. It’s 100% to be expected, Launch Day is final stress test, no amount of servers/staff/etc. will fix that. No amount of QA fixes that.

Meh, Dragon Age is a single-player series, so nothing is lost here.

That’s a completely different discussion, and not what we’re talking about. Plus, the horse armour meme has been dead for many years. Most developers/publishers (keyword: most) do good DLC options at much more realistic prices than back in the horse armour days.
