PS3 didn’t hit EOL til about 5 years into PS4's life. Hell, PS3 still has games coming out, despite being at EOL.

Pretty sure they never promised zero load times on PS4 games, and the zero-load system requires specific optimization for the new PS5 games, which are built to live-load immediately, whereas PS4 games are built with the idea of step-loading.
