Strange that all these conservatives complain about Muslims and how they treat women, are the same ones who want to treat women the same here.

We decided to sell our 2015 Fusion that wasn’t getting driven a lot. I have a commuter I drive during the week, and my wife uses our 2018 F-150 to haul the little ones around.
Maybe I am just one of those people who likes to keep their current car as long as possible but I don’t get it why someone would pay so much money for something that is good as their current.
I’m with ya! This job had it all, just like yours. Until my company restructured and installed buffoons above me for supervisors. It’s changed this job completely. Don’t take anything for granted.
11th year with my company.

I feel like there is a difference doing stuff for your family after school instead of working at a meta stamping plant instead of going to school.
I’m no exception. I helped my parents at their store from middle school to high school.
I’ve got a 2013 BMW 335 that we’ve had since before my son was born in 2013. It babies just fine and with the dinan stage-2 on it, it’ll happily kick out the rear in a neighborhood leaving power slide. Oh, it’s 9 years old, paid for, and has 62k miles on it. Not going anywhere anytime soon!
On one level, it doesn’t matter what work these kids were doing; they shouldn’t have been there. But if whoever hired them was willing to cross that line, it seems reasonable to assume the worst.
Will it baby? Yes. Will it baby comfortably? Probably not. Ask me how I know, and I’m only 5' 9"...
I’m not as tall as you (6’), but we made it work for the first years of our kid — a paid-off ‘99 Ford Escort and a ‘96 Ford Mustang. Car seats in both cards. Even when the kid was getting older, was no problem for him to leap in the back seat of either car.
Compact sedans don’t baby as well as they used to. My wife’s Cruze hatch has 10 airbags and all that, which is nice, because precious cargo and all that. But speaking of cargo, it eats a surprisingly small amount of stuff, especially with the infant protection pod in place.
I researched strollers and got a…
wait, in a market driven economy lowered demand will decrease prices ? well I never
It’s easier to justify buying a large truck or SUV when inventory is high, gas is cheap, and interest rates are low. The question shoppers should be asking themselves is if they really need a larger vehicle, or if something smaller can do the job while saving them thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars. Forbes…
The advice for shopping in the current market is the same as the advice for shopping in the before times. Buy what you can afford that meets your needs. Focusing on what things used to cost, or speculating on what they might cost in the future isn’t part of the equation.
I would prefer to buy a small car over a larger vehicle because it is easier to drive, less anxiety about parking the thing, better fuel economy, and the feeling that you are not wasting so much space in a smaller vehicle if you are driving by yourself or one passenger 99 percent of the time.
Pro: lower cost, possibly buy it outright.
Con: higher unexpected maintenance costs.
Car payments for a vehicle under warranty are predictable and considered more safe, financially speaking, than a cheaper car that may have a power-steering pump fail unexpectedly or some other expensive to replace part. Basically,…
I’m sure this won’t be a popular idea on Jalopnik, but a better long term solution is to push for your town to build better public transit and protected bike paths. I love driving. I pretty much won’t buy a vehicle without a stickshift because I love climbing through the gears and hitting that sweet rev-matched…
I feel like in this market, if you’re price sensitive, you’re only shopping because you NEED a car. Like your old one is dead. If that’s the case and you’re not able to afford the 2022 CRV of your dreams, why not buy the 2012 CRV of your “lets just get a car that works for right now” reality or some other Cash car…
You’re conveniently ignoring the fact the cops arrived soley to prevent the man from doing self-harm and he instead ends up dead.
