Athletes are the worst. They don’t have the right kind of practice for this and even the ones that dazzle in sports interviews fall flat because those interviews are low bars. Isn’t Wayne Gretzky considered the worst SNL host? The only athlete I can imagine handling this well is Terry Crews and he’s an actor now.
