I'm a gay man, so I know that it's a bit different, but I can totally empathize. Coming out is hard. My best friend is a bi woman, and it took me months to come out to her. The feeling of uncertainty, when you don't know how somebody will react, is just terrible.

@magus-21: I totes see your point. You're making perfect sense.

@magus-21: I'd agree that there is a big disconnect, but lets look at another large release. Would you not consider the artistic merit of Bioshock? The art and design is all very well crafted, and evokes a specific artistic movement (Art Deco), and it has a well crafted plot. Why shouldn't it be considered?

A recent gallery showing at my school that focused on digital media showed off several games.

@Bleemo: That's actually a very interesting way of looking at it. I'm an art major in college, and I'm kind of used to art being a very fluid term.

@Travakh: Completely and utterly untrue. Art has until relatively recently been nothing but for profit. How do you think Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Ghirlandaio, Van der Eyke, Picasso, or Dali kept from starving? It's only been in the past few centuries that art has been broadly created for the sole purpose

@ericacartman: Our culture seems enamored with Lesbian sexuality, while it reviles Gay sexuality. I don't know why. It's silly.

@SusanDeath: Hearted for the awesomeness. If we weren't both queer folk, I'd totally propose.

@middleone79: "I'm seriously sick of being told to extend an olive branch to those who would just as soon see me lynched in an olive tree."

@Helen Valentine: Hearted, 30% for the Mulan shout-out and 70% for the Willow profile pic. Much love! XD

@theysaidwhat: I was about to post something about how many of the questions have been either directly or indirectly answered already, then I read your post. Much love.

@Anubis LG: local lol. Though I don't know that anyone unfamiliar with our little metro would get the punchline.

@Macoy: Oddly enough, I think that would be a workable tag-line here in Reno. Large hick population.

@RightFootStar: On behalf of my fair city, I try for righteous indignation and come up with mild apathy. Carry on.

48 lines! Splitting headache now, though.
