Intellectual Vietnam, I think I may have to steal that.

Fair enough, I pretty much disagree with every point you have, but.....question answered.

I'm just curious, what in particular about Libertarians do you find unpalatable?

Um, I think that's a thing now too.

A bit of an aside dealing with one aspect of this review. I have to point out the glaring societal double standard when it comes to how some people judge a characters motivation. Often times in films with a female lead we see and hear the lamentations whenever their path is crossed by or dare should I suggest, even

Wow, you all are sick in the head..............and quite punctual, since you all beat me to it.

I say about damned time! Though I'm still taking my little girl to it for proper Geek indoctrination.

Thought crimes can cost you a lot nowadays, even a NBA team.

Tough one....I would have to say it's a tie between two PBS series. I can remember my mom cluing me into watching Cosmos at a young age, and in particular I was fascinated by his description of time dilation, it completely amazed me. Secondly would be the show 321 contact; there were several occasions with very detail

    Very interested to see this.

I really can't understand the obsession with this movie/song. I thought it was oddly paced, (about 54 songs in the first half and nothing in the latter). Also it was the most obviously slanted in Disney's complete ignoring of their male audience as of late; the main male character was little more than a blip.

Few people are "ready" to take another person's life. I'm guessing same as with cops ( who also have to use deadly force) most people, barring a true sociopath , doesn't join the military to kill people.

BTW, Pro-lifer right here. Don't beStop quick to make generalizations.

It's heartening on one side to see that we still have an innate desire to not end another human's life, even in such a detached and unfeeling way. There a dark aspect to this though; I.E. how do we turn off a moral imperitive not to kill. Maybe that stress, instead of being removed , should be a clue to people that

Maybe it's just me, but I've always wanted to be burnt in the open air. I'm not sure what all of my spiritual beliefs are yet, but I always liked the idea of my eyes, dead though they may be, looking out towards infinity. The idea of being in a vat of acid or giant blast furnace just seems too industrial. I would like

as long as they make me into a manly scent. No flowery Corpse-soap !

Meh, cremation just decomposes you in a different way. ashes can still be used by nature, lots of minerals in it. In one way or another, other than some freaky cryo stuff, we all go back to the earth in one way. I agree though that the way we treat death in this society is pretty effed up . It kind of reminds me of

Is that just from burning a body or is that also for the natural gas used in the process?

Open air funeral pyre, just throw a couple logs under me to get the process going. Keep some ashes for the wife to bury. Cast the rest of me to the wind , preferably while doing the funeral scene from the big Lebowski.
