Adding comments to the news to specifically trash Tesla and/or Musk was entertaining at first. Now it’s just old and annoying. Can I really not even get my automotive journalism without bias?

I felt the same way until I drove one. Love the touchscreen now. It works on the Tesla. Not sure that it would on any other competitor.
I’m having trouble understanding how a company that sells a superior product at a massive discount to their competition is “screwing” customers over by increasing/lowering their price based upon supply/demand and inflation/costs.
That was the worst ad I’ve ever seen. More cringeworthy bad than funny bad. Doesn’t matter, BMW already lost me with their exterior designs anyway. I’ll keep owning and treasuring my F30 and try to pretend this isn’t happening for as long as I can.
I started accumulating Ford stock after the reviews started coming out for this. While yours might have had some understeer, all the other reviews suggested oversteer and great steering/handling. It’s an extremely tempting alternative to the Model 3, as it seems to fix all of the Tesla issues for those who can put up…
Predicted exponential growth is the one thing a lot of old school value investors (like myself) have a hard time understanding and it is what is driving companies like Tesla and several others. Tesla is unique in that it also has a group of True Believers that will buy every dip, which then keeps the technicals…
Huh, all good choices. That’s weird.
I wonder if/when there will be good aftermarket carbon fiber roofs available.
Best story in car journalism right now. I’ve yet to see a single reviewer, commenter, or anyone who doesn’t work for BMW say those grilles look anything but hideous. This is so incredibly entertaining that they are actually bringing it to market, and in the age of social media! Can’t wait to see them on the road and…
It was bound to happen. Wagon buyers fall into two classes. They either want them used and heavily depreciated or as an ultra fast complement to their less comfortable and practical fleet of hypercars. Which is fine. Turns out my sedan has plenty of room for 2 kids and having one more kid creates a lot more complicatio…
I actually like it quite a bit. Could be on my radar in 5-10 years as a used vehicle.
“doesn’t sit well with the proportions of the rest of the car” Lol.
Won’t be missed. Mercedes cars are all so ugly now (wagon excluded) that it’s hard to care even a smidge about them.
Just depends on perspective. I think a lot of us want our cars to be mostly toys and not daily commuter machines.
I hardwired a fuel pump shutoff switch for my 240sx and mounted it so that you had to feel your way underneath the backside of the glove box to find it.
It’s possible that both the manual trans and the differentials from the Sasquatch package require different length driveshafts. Which would then mean having to make a unique driveshaft for just that combination, and unique means expensive.
Why isn’t Audi mentioned? They’re crushing BMW and Mercedes in exterior styling. The former has consistently been making their cars better, while the latter are taking WTF to an extreme.
Agreed, Dave Ramsey’s advice is so incredibly bad, and oftentimes, completely wrong. When I’ve manage to make myself listen to him, it’s constant cringing. The last time I remember hearing him talk was about how you should never lease a “Lexus, BMW, etc” and I couldn’t stop thinking about how he could possibly…
Blue? Check
These cars looked great back then, and they still look quite good now. Makes it kinda sad when you compare to any new Mercedes.
