Damn. If GM, BMW, Ford, etc really don’t want to compete with the Model 3, I’m probably just going to be forced to buy a Tesla at some point.

The current logo is perfect, and is currently still the best out there. The flatness and clear surround are not appealing. The only change I think they could possibly make would be to delete the BMW letters. As you said, they are unnecessary.
Everyone is wrong here. The answer is obvious. Keep the Outback. You’ll need it for camping trips, snow, hauling stuff, etc. Spend the money on a sports car for your DD. Camaro, Mustang, Corvette, M235i, F-Type, Cayman, etc. So many good, inexpensive options to choose from in this Golden Age.
“Tell that to BMW, and probably others, who you have to bring the car to the dealer to replace the battery, because the car has to be programmed that there is a new battery in place. Also, you can’t just replace the battery with any off the shelf unit from the local parts store. You have to get one that’s specifically…
This just looks perfect in every way!
Well... you’ve convinced ME. Now, how do we convince my wife...
What’s really sad here is how extremely low the rates of people actual yielding are! Forget the cost of the car and the gender/race, we need to get everyone to be more cautious when driving. Especially when it comes to pedestrians and cyclists!
After reading comments, I don’t think most people really understand how wealthy some of the royal families and oligarchs that control governments around the world really are. These guys make Jeff Bezos (who really only has access to whatever miniscule amounts of amazon stock he can sell at a given time or the easy…
Rich people spending frivolously is great for the economy. I love to see stories like this.
This... I actually like. We drove the Q7 when looking for a car for my wife and I was surprised by how well it drove (I’m almost certain it had to have had the air suspension and rear wheel steering). It just didn’t feel big when driving. For a vehicle that can haul a lot of crap, it was very very good. I’ll still…
I don’t know that I’ll ever be so wealthy that I buy carbon offsets, but I love the optimism!
Did anyone actually think 54mpg by 2025 was actually going to stay, no matter who got elected?
Having said that, I can go plenty fast on a bicycle. I’m not touching a motorcycle.
Perhaps we need to make them bigger, heavier and more technologically advanced. With a proper roll cage, restraining device (start with the mechanism that clamps you in place when you ride the Avatar Flight of Passage ride at Disney), and automatic emergency braking, turning, and gyroscopic magic (and screw it, let’s…
I honestly can’t imagine doing more than 60 months for a car loan. We did that on my first car loan for my lightly used 335, but only because they offered 1.9% interest and it was the same rate for anywhere between 3 and 5 years. At that point, it just seemed stupid not to take the maximum term with that rate or to…
While I wasn’t considering non-M models to M models, I do think the F3X/F8X models edges out the E46 in styling. Of course, I’m sure someone else will come along and tote the E30 over all...
If the seat reclines, it’s a right. Asking is stupid. Getting upset because someone in front of you reclined their seat is ridiculous. It’s their right. Deal with it. Getting upset at the airline because the airline decided your seat doesn’t need to recline is warranted. Pulling on, nudging or punching the seat in…
EGADS!!! I used to get gas at that Circle K years ago when I lived down the street. This could have happened to mmmeeeeee!!!!!
Also, he and my cousin drive those exact same cars that he sells. The one time I got a ride from my cousin, it (predictably) broke down. Luckily, I was able to diagnose and fix it on the side of the road (loose MAF connection if I remember correctly).
As a counterpoint for the guys who own and run those “sleazy” dealerships, I have a cousin who’s boyfriend runs one in a rural area somewhere along the Kentucky/Ohio border. His cars are junk, priced high, and the interest rates ridiculous. Several of them are re-possessed multiple times and are so cheap that it…
