If anything, the turmoil in our nation has demonstrated to me more than ever that the goodness of people is well removed from their party affiliation.

Given the collective national mood and context in which this advice is being given, it’s clear that most people who follow it will really just be disconnecting from people they disagree with, which is far too often dictating - and shouldn’t be - those that we “care about or enjoy engaging with”.

First, he was very clear that his comparison was only around being justified in acting against rules that are wrong, not in the wrongs themselves.

Beyond Light launches November 10, not December 10.

Not that they need a blog to encourage misuse of Yelp reviews, but...why?
Just when the haters were running out of tools to abuse, Lifehacker hands its audience one more.

Scientifically speaking, more oil should help distribute the cooking heat uniformly to the kernels so that they get a better explosion and steam release, right? Any crunchiness of the finished product isn’t due to “frying” of the un-popped (or popped) kernels. As I understand it, the “freshness” of popcorn might be a

Although this focuses on “impacts to your wallet”, you failed to note the fact that an increase in corporate tax rates translates to lower wage growth, meaning your expected salary bump or bonus is likely to be reduced.

Some would say there might be a bit of “inclusiveness” hypocrisy in blocking posts that simply disagree with your viewpoint. Not trolling, insulting or being graphic, mind you...just expressing a different opinion.

The point about “mom” and “dad” is well taken, but an established definition of the term parent refers to the role of raising a child without regard to blood relation. Advocating “my grown ups” is a solution without a problem and can bring potential confusion of its own.

You lost us in the opening paragraph at “objectionable conservative concepts like capitalism”. There’ll be plenty of time to make politically-charged games in your indie game dev commune.

To summarize, your idealistic and pure idea of criticism is apparently “objective subjectivity”. If every critic’s intent was as noble as yours, and every critic’s methodology as self-reflective, then that might be a more realistic ideal.

Truth.

I find it absolutely crazy that even with the maturity of modern machine learning there’s still not a free and 99% reliable Shazam for bird songs. All the tools for making one are out there.

No baking dish with any degree of baked-on crud will benefit from “a minute or two” of soaking. Sorry, but the average lasagna dish is infinitely easier to clean after hours of soaking, whether or not you consider it an act of laziness or procrastination.

Let’s start with the fact that we perceive Sinclair, or any corporation, or people or entities that espouse a different political viewpoint as “the enemy”. Refrain from engaging in pseudo-journalism or public discourse until you can manage to get beyond that flawed perspective.
