I feel you, man. But, in my case, I read that description and had a different thought. I thought the creature they were chasing was a corrupted Pearl, whom they would have to fix. I also thought that said corruption may have happened because of damage incurred during a recent regeneration that Pearl had to undergo.…

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I have a thought, though: can Steven regenerate? He is half human, after all. Sure, he can fuse, but he's also immune to Gem technology. Not sure he can do that. And, if he did, I'm not sure we'd like the result.
