This is a great point, and also really, really important. Toxic masculinity needs to be nipped in the bud as soon as possible. The sooner we teach young men that women are human beings- not just objects, the better.

You ignore structural issues with the “practical job” argument, but I’ve argued this with you before and know you ignore those. People shouldn’t be commodities having a value placed on them based on if their expertise makes someone money. (PS English majors are a pipeline to legal careers, just letting you know).
