I think your point is incredibly valid, and I hope my suggestion isn’t disrespectful. I was thinking not so much to avoid the work - I can use google and find lists, but many of those lists have the same books. Or the creators are sometimes organizations with specific monetary/business interests where the creator(s)…

The Root has done so damn much to make me think outside the bubble of white privilege. To acknowledge that being white means I have unchecked bias and built in privledges abound.
