I really enjoyed Sixth Sense when it came out, but I never saw it as a horror movie at all. I watched it with my horror-hating parents, even. It's a creepy sort of ghost story, and a clever Twilight Zone-ish film, but not horror at all.

Agreed, Dirk in the books seemed like a sloppy sort of slacker who just sort of went through life until he'd stumble across a coincidence, not a hyperactive loony actively seeking out clues — but I guess a dull, shlubby loser would make for some boring TV.

Finally, something Trump Jr. and I agree on: eating refugees is a terrible idea, you never know which ones are poisoned.

The ending of the book was perfect. With a mouse as her partner, the addresses of every witch in the world, and infinite resources, Grandmama is perfectly set up to sneak in and eliminate witches everywhere. Luke is vocally happy about being a mouse, and his realization that he'll die at the same time as his Grandmama

He has a big gun. A really big weapon!

Not true. They have stated flat-out that they do not have access to your email account. You can assume they're lying, I suppose, but they're making it very clear they cannot access your email.

"Not only does the app track your location, it has access to your phone’s camera and all of your personal information, and its developers can “disclose any information about you” to “government or law enforcement officials or private parties.”
Not true at all. The developers have clarified that they do not have access

I genuinely feel sorry for people for whom cilantro is a flavor to be avoided. I just ate a salad that was probably 1/4 cilantro leaves. It was fresh and bright and delicious.

The parts of… every comment you've posted ever? No, I'm not a member of your fa club, so I haven't read your comments. I don't believe you, however. I think you're just an angry manbaby who likes to complain.

You didn't read the parts about the stellar cast being really funny, having great chemistry, and creating a fun original movie, did you? That's not "apologism", that's "reviewing a movie". But it sure sounds like you're really eager to hate a movie you haven't seen.

But… but… Angry Men on the Internet who haven't actually seen the movie and refuse to see it keep insisting that it's the worst movie ever made! WHO SHOULD I BELIEVE!?! Clearly this reviewer and every other reviewer is lying to protect women everywhere.

White guys aren't able to create black female characters now?

I found it charming, funny, and sentimental, and had some true beauty to it. It's okay to like different things.

That's what I hear! I never had time to see it in the theater; I'm looking forward to getting it on blu-ray.

By far the best and most Bill Murray-ish thing he's done in quite awhile was last year's "A Very Murray Christmas". Sofia Coppola is one of the few directors besides Wes Anderson who uses him well.

Will it include an adorable bat and the reanimated corpse of Rasputin, whose body randomly falls apart as he's singing? I can only hope.

I've been there, and it's so wonderful.
What's extra wonderful is that cameras are absolutely not permitted inside the Ghibli Museum, and it's strictly enforced. So imagine a group of Japanese parents standing there as their kids get to sit inside an actual Catbus, unable to take photos of them. I though they were

I'm good, thanks. Seeing this video pretty much tells me what I need to know about their music.

I bet these guys TOTALLY smoke the marijuana, yo.
