Trying to stay positive... they might not be donors, but they’re almost voting age.

1) I can agree that people that live in tight knit communities that are vigilant and communicate well can be safer. Not sure how “white” communities fits in here. Corporal punishment statistically causes more harm than good, and I disagree that parents “whooping some asses again” would help.

Counterpoint: Many parents would feel very upset knowing a large number of children congregated in the streets two days after a horrific school shooting and no police were monitoring them.

The bitter cynical side of me thinks: “Maybe this could finally result in legislation; Florida is a swing state...”
