¡Viva el Perú, carajo!

Not sure if the NFL still has rules or follows them but:

It’s 49 square miles (7mi x 7mi). About.

This is all correct.

When the zombie apocalypse finally happens I want to eat your brain first, Ashley. Even if you’re writing for boring-ass Wired.

This made me laugh loudly.... I’m a terrible human being.

Pedantic here: They have 60 seconds to hit the drone. The drone pilot (a champion drone racer) has to keep the drone in front of the goal.

Why the fuck have I not seen drone racing until now? I feel like my life hasn’t had meaning until today!

Which sport do you most enjoy watching in person and why?

Home brewer/Wet Blanket here. Beer is basically a petri dish that feeds alcohol-producing yeast. It will also feed any microbe it comes into contact with. The reason most beer isn’t loaded with dangerous bugs is that 90% of the brewing process is sanitizing the beer and the equipment.

I thought this was interesting too. It looks like most urban cores are very blue and surrounded by very red suburbs throughout the country. For me the most counter-intuitive part is that these red suburbs are redder than the vast swaths of light pink rural areas.

For my thirtieth birthday I rode my bike from Muir Beach to the east peak of Mt. Tam. It’s the best view of San Francisco without being airborne.

Glad you weren’t severely injured. I’ve known a couple of bicyclists who were doored and both had broken collarbones. I commuted to work when I lived in Oakland for many years and I was constantly afraid of getting doored.

As a fan of steel frames I can’t stop eye-fucking that Russian Masi...

The other benefit to the covered drivetrain is reduced maintenance. You don’t need to clean and lube the chain as often when it’s sealed from debris.

You’re right the original looks to have generators (or very large drum brakes) in the hubs. Kind of weird since the original one doesn’t seem to have integrated lighting like the red bike.

No love for Ida, or Amores Perros? The Wrestler? City of God? I like Grand Budapest Hotel and Lost in Translation too, but I prefer films that actually make a statement.

This is the year I finally jump from PS3 to 4. Should I opt for a slim or an original? New or used?

Why is his face so creepy? It looks like someone tried to craft a human out of discarded pig-skin.
