I don’t know how the story of tomato troll being an opioids addict came to be, but his persistence and depth of work to undermine these comment sections seems like something that an insane billionaire determined to wreck a site might finance. I like most of the comments here, but I hate having to second guess

Watch Steve Carell in other things. He’s actually much more than just what he did on that show. I was floored by how good he was in “The Big Short.” Didn’t know he had that kind of range.

“This President was not elected to hang out with reporters and celebrities at fancy events.”

Ryan is a better fit for Lewandowski.

Trump is Todd Packer.

“We never covered this in class.”

Still is declared valedictorian because the only other options were women.

Duh. Bannon. It WAS Lewandowski until he got shitcanned.

Except Michael Scott had a kind heart and cared about people around him, minus Toby.

His tagline is from Mythbusters’ Adam Savage:

The guy has never done a day’s work in his life, either. He just surrounds himself with yes men who are willing to take the blame when trump fucks something up. He’s a boss, not a leader.

Trump is like Michael Scott, just more clueless.

Literally nothing he has said since being elected hasn’t confirmed what we knew the whole time, that Donald Trump is a neophyte who has never actually done any hard thinking in his life, and whose only previous hard job was deciding which model he was going to hit on once he named them a winner.

He represents the same big-money, republican-lite neoliberals that have shaped the party for the last 15-20 years and have seen Democrats virtually eliminated from governance.

I’m not shaming you into voting for Democrats, just pointing out that we have a perfect idiom already well-in-use for the decisions you are making.

I strongly suspect that the majority of people who are furious about the DNC have literally never cared about who the DNC Chair was prior to 2016, and, had Keith Ellison been elected, gone on to not think about the DNC in any way other than “yeah, my guy got elected, awesome.”

A former BF and I once had a support group: Adult Children Whose Mothers Cooked Everything on High.

Certain things just get branded into us by our surroundings and how “we’ve always done things.” Like the story of a woman who was making a roast, and her daughter was watching her. She asked, mom, how come you always cut off the end of the roast?

The former are my parents. They were raised in the Deep South and my mother didn’t have indoor plumbing until she was a senior in High School — late 50's. Everything had to be COOKED, goddammit! Otherwise you might get sick.

Having spent 7 years working in a steakhouse, I can attest that there are exactly two kinds of adults who eat steak like this:
