I’m one of those people who think cursive should still be taught in school. It is something that is easily integrated with other lessons, and it helps with fine motor skills. I should know, I failed fine motor skills in kindergarten.

I like most books on my eReader, but some need to be paper. Like any that have footnotes - I find it too hard to flip between the footnotes and the original page. And any that have maps or family trees in the beginning or end. It’s much easier to use one hand to book mark the page while you flip to the graphic.

It’s relevant that our highest public officials are investigating this dossier, whether what it contains fact or fiction. That is newsworthy, especially since it contains allegations that our President-elect may have opened himself up to being extorted by the Russian government. How hard is that to understand?

Did you even read what he wrote - he said that the mere fact that this dossier was being passed around in the upper echelons of our government and intelligence community is newsworthy in and of itself.

I didn’t even hear what he said, I was just impressed by his French accent so much that I had to tell my cat. Because she is really into French accents; or I talk to myself and she just happens to be on the couch next to me. Point is - I was all, “Nice accent, Hiddles” and missed what he was saying.

Yep. I used to ski and ice skate in my youth. Haven’t done it in 20+ years. Neither is a skill you retain well without practice. It is so far to fall now, and it hurts so much more. Now those are two activities that are just fond memories.
