I know a lot of people who have seen pics of him at the Obama meeting just take a glance and say, based on body language alone, he’s scared shitless. And I’m like, GOOD. He doesn’t have the range. There’s still time/he can manufacture some shite excuse about getting back to his glorious ponzi schemes.

oh thbbbttt, so much for solidarity. I am also Arab-American, also white. That doesn’t mean everyone I care about is. it’s not always about oneself that one worries.

What is this “logic” of which you speak

Yeah-I’ve been to see him speak. I have not always been crazy about his politics, but we need somebody experienced and confrontational af right now, so it’s all good.

And like, people are nostalgic for those times now. I feel so sick. And I don’t even live in America anymore. Every post about somebody being harassed or having a swastika painted on their wall makes me cry. You guys, srsly.

With an ice pick! xoxo

Seconded! The Slot has been sooo good and you are all national treasures. Sending you all internet beers and hoping you get a week off. Hugs, OtherCunt.

Well, she doesn’t have to worry. Miss Marple is on the case (sry/not sry)

This is my take on everything that has been in the news for the last 2 years.

To be fair, I’m from NY so it wasn’t going to make or break, but still. Always vote.

Actually, I would’ve liked to hear that one.

I think I was around 19 when I was making an argument to someone in my family that minorities have historically not been successful in the U.S. so we should stop spending funds on minority-advancement programs. Relieved to say I read and experienced enough and talked to enough people to get over that kind of thinking

My uncle gave me a book by her when I graduated high school. I think it was something about all the ways women screw up their lives. I dunno what that was about. It was his daughter who ended up with an unplanned pregnancy a little later on, not me.

I dated a guy who was in a non-denominational Christian church and to be supportive (I grew up in a very denominational church, heh), I would sometimes attend services with him and even tried Bible Study a couple times (nothing against people who get something out of it, just, yeah). There were Jews for Jesus there,

This is actually funny. Do not even worry.

I still do stuff like that in adulthood. I believe I was 34 when I had to dump out a bunch of bottles of failed almond extract that I’d forgotten about.

Around the same age I convinced a friend that we had to start a bird food bank by saving up birch tree seeds and acorns and shit in the fall and give them to the birds in the winter when nothing was available. I had a name for it that I’ve since forgotten that I painted on a lot of coffee cans. I think the birds have

I thought Ayn Rand books were super awesome when I was 15. I got over it by 17. I still know people in their 30s who think objectivism is a real thing. So.

Don’t feel bad. He seemed like he might be a good candidate, up until his train wreck personal life was brought to life. I mean.
