THIS. I think there is a misconception among teenagers that body spray = deodorant. Trust me, it does not….
I grew up in Indiana (not exactly the epicenter of coolness) and maybe it was closer to 1997. I was in middle school from '96-'99, and I very much remember it being a thing in 7th grade. Axe works in mysterious ways.
It's so funny because when I was in middle school (circa 1996) I remember vividly buying Axe with my friends and spraying it ourselves, then collapsing in piles of giggles because it smelled like the hot boys. (Clearly, we did this in the comfort of our own rooms during sleepovers not in math class).
Yes, airlines need better customer service, and I can definitely commiserate as someone who flies often and has family in remote parts of the country (aka - never fly direct, always fly into sketchy, regional airports). BUT, with massive weather issues like this, there really is very little they can do but respond…
I'm not sure she's a reformed grifter ;) Regardless, interesting Jez link!
I have to post whenever Tracy Anderson is mentioned. Tracy is from my hometown, and she is not well liked for her seemingly unscrupulous business practices. Indianapolis Monthly did an expose on her a few years back, and it's really interesting: http://www.indianapolismonthly.com/features/story…
Thank you. I'm not pearl clutching here, but many, many studies indicate that young adults who begin drinking regularly before the age of 14 will experience far more negative consequences related to alcohol over the course of their life time. They are more likely to be alcohol dependent and binge drink in later…
So I read her website (because I was curious as to what the hell her point was), and she just states that her LEGAL name is Beautiful Existence. To me, that applies that she changed it legally. She never states that it was her given name or anything. IDK, just my two cents (to help make sense of this totally…
Seriously - I thought the same thing. TITLE FAIL. 1/3 of women who use the internet ≠ 1/3 of American women. I can haz reading comprehension?!
My first thought was I'm shocked they aren't wearing helmets. I'm pretty sure everyone wears helmets anymore - especially rich celebrities.
Probably immediate stoning by bagel bites. Interestingly, I've never seen this happen. People respect the line!
The express line for coffee exists! I work at a college, and the Bruegger's Bagels here has this option. It is the best thing ever! They also have a bottomless coffee mug for $120 for A YEAR. This is amazing, and you basically make your money back in 3 months.
Probably because sites like this one act as though she's the second coming of Christ, people eventually get annoyed with reading this time and again (see: Your Best Friend JLaw did something awesome) and backlash ensues.
So I remember Wet Seal as Contempo Casuals, and the "it" item of 7th grade was to have their skin-tight v-neck shirts. I bought one in blue and loved it, but my mom thought it was way too tight and forbid me to wear it to school. And thus began the middle school years of constant arguments over what to wear. RIP…
I went to a wedding with this exact color palette circa 2007. The bridesmaids wore lime green floor length strapless dresses with bustles (this was supposedly "in") with bright pink sashes. My eyes are still seared.
It's really unfortunate, and there are actually several studies that discuss the double standards of alcohol use perpetuated in the media. Many, many PSAs often remind women of the dangers of being very intoxicated (e.g., getting raped or being embarrassed), but for ads aimed at men they often showcase the dangers of…
You don't suck. I give my niece and nephew books every year. They open them with visible disdain, but they always end up reading them. I don't care. They get enough toys and crap from everyone else, at least they can get a few quality books from me (to read when every other toy breaks).
I had never heard of this website until this post. Seems like posting about the horrible website just gives it more notoriety.
