You Armagettit.

I dont know if its just “just go with it , we want to tell our story , so things just work” logic , or if its a sign that the world is a little screwier than it should be , and that theres something odd happening in the background . There’s a few things mentioned (like the chance of the planet hitting is 104%, which

I feel like we're talking at cross purposes, but I appreciate the response.

I’m not saying I would like something any better or thatc the same stories would work. But there is a fair bit of unexamined privilege in the idea that the sewers will just continue to function, because the people who maintain them either love their sewer-mucking routine, or don't have inner lives to run off and

“And, it goes without saying, society has done away with the capitalist playbook; chain stores and office buildings have fallen to ruin, and anything you could ever want is free of charge.”

I dunno, these sorts of stories can usually be sorted into two types: They’re either actively working towards stopping the end of the world, which can be entertaining at least. Or it’s about acceptance that the end of the world can’t be stopped and to make the most of the time you have. And as anyone who’s had a

They threw out the baby with the bathwater. We just wanted Factions 2, not some hulking GaaSy monstrosity.

I also think that Somewhere deep down Sony must be seeing the market trends and their own game sales proving that Single Player games are a huge market. They broke their own sales records 3 times in the last 3 years.

Yeah I didn’t want a live service, just a modern update to Factions, bummer that wasn’t their intention. Probably for the best to kill the live service project, but let’s not pretend Last of Us 3 was in danger of not happening because of a live service project, that series is a cash cow and they’re going to milk it

As a TLOU fan the only reason I was even somewhat interested in this was the thought that maybe Naughty Dog could bring something different to the table than everyone else. I’m still curious what they would’ve ultimately come up with, but the risk of it being just a forgettable development time sink was just so high

Please let this be the harbinger of a sea change within the industry. The world needs fewer of these live service abominations - not more.

Well make sure to bring a camera crew, because you don’t wanna miss a thing!

I’ve started watching this and Its pretty interesting so far , but , for reasons I cant quite put my finger on , Carol’s design reminds me of Soos from Gravity falls ..

...so what you’re saying is, the only real viable option we’d have is to land a team of space trained oil roughnecks on it to drill a nuclear warhead and explode it in its core? Sounds risky, but projections show it can be accomplished with just one casualty.

I strongly have to suspend disbelief with these “another world crashing into Earth soon” plots.

Just saw it, and I would disagree with those critics. There is a lot of solid and often fun interaction between the leads. Yes, the film sets up some more MCU projects. But at least there’s no Kang cameos. I would agree with the critics who point out that the antagonist isn’t very fleshed out. But this is a solid B+

Yeah, same here. I really don’t understand why so many writers seem to want to play both sides of this, catering to the incel crowd for clicks no matter what actually happens in the real world.

Critics have hit The Marvels hard for burying its three engaging leads beneath a lot of general MCU business”

Came here thinking I’d be sad that there would be a list of beloved titles and franchises that I wouldn’t be able to play on my Playstation ever again. Now I realize it’s a list of games and franchises that I have cared about less and less over time or the IP has simply died and probably wouldn’t be successful in

What does Nintendo own that they didn’t make themselves? All I can think of is Eternal Darkness (Silicon Knights) and Pokémon (Game Freak), and Nintendo only part-owns Pokémon, sharing it with the creator and Creatures, Inc.
