I am still raging hard about The Expanse. The fans of this show are amazing though, they funded a flying banner to be flown over Amazon HQ TWICE asking them to #savetheexpanse. I feel like it will probably all be for naught but I still love everyone involved in this show, from creators to fans.

The Expanse is maybe the best sci-fi show in over a decade, on any network. SyFy cancelling it makes no sense, but I’m glad it wasn’t their production and it can be shopped around.

I’m shocked you didn’t mention Major confessing he’s crushing on Chase in the stray observations. An episode with Major fantasising about Chase and Liv dressing up as Peyton: every shipper got a wish fulfilled this episode.

Just hearing her speak in her real voice is kind of insane.

Yes, they did. For a while I thought the show would be the anti-Trump but it keeps wanting to be President Goody-Two-Shoes. Well... Maggie Q should do shows for the cable companies, shows that will allow her to be her sexy badass best.

The Expanse is my favorite show right now on TV. And of course it’s getting cancelled. So I’m doing my part on social media to try to give it a new home. One thing I’ve been frustrated with is the lack of merchandising. Most other shows have tons of stuff- not this one. Aside from BluRays for the first two seasons and

I quit about a season in because it was terrible. They had the intriguing premise, but of course they couldn’t pull off an interesting conspiracy or spy shit to build off the exploded Capitol hook. So they pivoted to trying to do something political like West Wing or Madam Secretary, and it also didn’t work at all,

Netflix already has streaming rights for it in other territories (it’s in Latin America, for example,) so perhaps they have an edge if they want to secure US streaming rights or even outright buy the series and continue it.

My guess is Amazon since they are carrying the old episodes already. I doubt Netflix would pick it up unless they got the whole series.

Well, I’m done with Syfy.

Netflix, Amazon, Hulu — hell throw in HBO, Showtime, any other major player — you are officially on notice. If you want to get a whole bunch of love and loyalty from millions (once you add the streaming and foreign markets) automactically.

Man, this is really disappointing. The Expanse was providing a kind of Sci-Fi that I just don’t see enough of. I really hope they find a streaming home for this.

Alcon produces and finances it, whatever deal they would potentially strike would just be for distribution.

I really hope someone does pick it up. I know it’s an expensive show to produce, though, so that might be a hurdle. All digits crossed.

It’s one of the best shows on TV, so of course they would cancel it! SyFy logic everybody.

Well, at least it will be back on some service. Hopefully Amazon or Netflix pick it up - they seem up to the task of funding something this scale.

I loved The Mick a lot. (The drug trip through the high school episode was sublime.) But I was preparing myself to say goodbye to Mickey and the gang.

I’m real fuckin’ upset about Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It doesn’t make a lick of sense to me. Fine, maybe it didn’t get the live ratings it deserved, but it’s the era of

Wish I could change my misspelling of Isobel but, alas, I won’t have access until tonight.

Funny how in one comment you call me simple minded and a cancer to society while here you say I enjoy more complex themes.
