Ooh! You just reminded me that RZA directed one, and yes that actually ended up being my favourite as well! Should've recognized some of the style in it. It and this episode are the ones that had a goddamn sense of style which is what helped save Luke Cage to get past some of its issues.

It really is a development of Fresh Meat's generation into another, with exception that Crashing has (slightly) less broad comedy. Probably because post-uni people (should) have a better life.

Whelp, end up commenting on 2 of your posts seconds after each other but I came here specifically to write that Crashing was the better show. (I think she purposefully gave herself the most annoying character though)

You do your name proud! Any Gil scott-heron mention is an automatic upvote.
And also same on more life, with Views I ended up waiting to read several lists on what might be a good song before trying and it still disappointed. Gonna give More Life the same attempt (Drake hasn't lost my faith yet)

Look i'm all for hating on AVClub reviews that shoehorn Trump into everything, but at least some basic reading skills are required before you shit on their analogy.

Can you even remember how average he was before the whole brainwashing and losing Snart happened. I think I could even say that finding out he was Chronos/ being left by Snart is the shift that made LoT good.

Well you've written their next ep for them!

As the reviewer for the Flash noted I was struck this week by the levity at STAR Labs after Barry went into the speedforce bc at this point no one knew if Barry or Wally were gonna make it out alive. They've literally written themselves into a corner where even fun references seem inappropriate, while LoT manages… I

I started watching TVD only about a year or two ago because I wanted to get into the Originals, binging made me fall in love with Bonnie so much because her limited screen time and always.saving.everything. was less apparent in a bingewatch. Having you guys there to complain with for the last two years made the

It started out as even worse than Steroline (ugh i've never even typed these shipping names bc they were never worth noting) but Kat and Malachi really pulled that one out of the least screen time ever.

Oh I loved McLeod's Daughters so much! It didn't actually run for that long which meant it got repeated so often I almost felt like I knew how to raise a farm. What you mentioned about the stakes being very different from regular dramas made it acceptable for me (way too young att) to watch it. I think something went

I think Ashley made a good point in defense of that characterisation, namely Bow was caught up in her own issues with representation and feeling unrecognized for her position as a doctor. This was made clearer by the contrast with the total non-fucks given by Diane about the entire issue.

I think it's because most people agree that she's extremely childish compared to the rest of the cast but I'd counter that she hasn't gone through 1% of the trauma the other people have endured and her emotional maturity has been stunted because of the whole Kid Genius thing. That and my general love for the actress

Automatic upvote for any PoI references.

The only thing that kept me going for this last season is going to the comment section here and seeing so many people also complain about everything done to Bonnie. Gonna miss you guys!

Wow, just realised Oglaf is what it reminds me of. Good on you, its incredibly similar.

I didn't expect it to be a C+ just because I really appreciated the way they explored Michael's death without using sadness this time and ignored how random some of the other storylines were.

He\s probably the only reason to like Hart of Dixie and I trust the showrunners (surprisingly even with some misfires in their past). If he has the Southern accent he had in HoD and 2 black daughters with agency I will have died and gone to heaven.

I just gasped out loud imagining a return of Amy Acker for the next ep.

If you end up watching The Good Fight without going back for TGW, I'd love to hear what you think! I wonder how these characters would look for fresh eyes.
