Betty White? She got that old without being problematic (as far as I know) which should count for something.

I loved it, I think the review would be different if the reviewer hadn't clung to traditional thoughts on how tv works - the story in my mind actually works best as a binge because the narrative thread relies on all six episodes to not seem boring.
Oh this is hilarious, I'm already recognising what episodes some of the Win-by-defaults are from.
I love how Kevin in his (presumably short) visits still manages to make the owners feel as if he's invested, not trying to make fun of them per se. It really promotes this beautiful ideal of going for your dreams.
I had absolutely no clue what Carson was referencing so that's for enlightening me!
Even still, his comment makes no sense, "someone who acknowledges Lucifer"… isn't part of being Christian(or Muslim or Jewish) sorta acknowledging that there's this guy called Lucifer sometimes that makes us do bad things?
Yeah! The musical cues and the natural background they cut to outside of the tent makes it so calming. Another show good for that is Grand Designs, with the calming voice of the presentator and beautiful surroundings it calms me down every time.
"look, we're focusing on Rachel but doing so critiques white privilege"
This criticism isn't bullshit because they purposefully chose (apparently even before the season started being written according to the interview above) to include on top of the feminist issues they normally dealt with something about police brutality.
I don't understand what you mean? I get that there's sarcasm in there but I didn't say at any point that Asian countries weren't racist as hell or that Asian immigrants in the US weren't arbitrarily "successful"?
Yeah I loved the point of wanting his husband to be asian. after all of the difficulties being gay brings with your Asian family, your Asian culture and just being Asian in a white dominated society like the US in general - I get that there's this weird combination of internalised racism and some trauma (is that the…
Wow, John Cho is intelligent and thoughtful as hell. I love reading his concerns because they're the exact ones I came up with as well when I first heard it (bit self-indulgent of me) There's something about hearing the simplistic " they're making a character gay because the original actor was" that makes it seem as…
Your second point is correct, Kristen thought that by capturing a Pokemon, no one else could catch it but that's not how it works. As long as both people try to catch it somewhat at the same time, they can both get the pokemon - and they regenerate rather quickly.
It looks a lot cleaner in the stills than it does in the actual show.
I think his point was that they don't do it enough when these types of reality shows currently rely heavily on the twitter live-watching experience to maintain relevance.
I think Chet pulling Jeremy returned to his core being of trying to manipulate people, Jeremy hitting Rachel wouldn't contribute to his end-goal.
And MRA types, I think they're ok with violence against women as long as it either can be misconstrued as the woman's fault or cannot be proven that it's done by a man. The…
A lot of people with nose rings tuck it into their nostrils when trying to be more professional, I think Jessica does it too a lot but maybe all fucks to give were lost in her final segment.
It's really good and is the only comedic news show to inherit the heart of Jon Stewart's show. ( I love the other shows but Full Frontal is truly quirky fun)
He actually had quite a good role on Survivors Remorse which he left for… this.
Rachel's point is they're not trying to compliment you, my asshole ex is trying to get "the bitch boss" in her feelings.
Her face while running Tom Cruise style was just… amazing.
Exactly what I thought!
