That’s the real tragedy of the situation.

Look I am all for fuck the police, but putting a police officer as the main picture for an article with the title

Now playing

I actually picked it up six or seven years ago from eBay because I wanted to try out the Resident Evil 2 port. It’s bad (no surprise there) but I can’t get over the fact that it exists. It’s really a complete remake, which is completely wild to me even if what they wound up with isn’t very fun.

So they work basically like cantilever brakes or u brakes, which is to say worse than linear pull brakes, but are also a pain in the ass to keep calibrated? Sounds like Jalopnik.

Christ on a Bike, this is a bicycle version of a David Tracy Jeep article. (not in a bad way, no negativity intended)

For pretty much any modern racing league there’s probably a point you can identify where they were at their fastest before rule changes never allowed them to obtain that level again. The faster technology didn’t cease to exist, the rules just changed to limit it.

Few counterpoints:

Interesting piece. So is the one linked below, which is one of several as I recall where Kotaku openly chastised ‘gamers’ for crying “But muh accuracy!” at Battlefield V including women soldiers during WWII, going so far as to imply they were sexist for calling out what they felt was clear corporate pandering. Times

Corporative wokeness is not the snake that bites it’s own tail. It GORGES on it. As long we keep asking that from consumer products, we will keep getting that kind of insult and demeanor. Let products be products, we need our action in a lot of other places of our society.

That’s not how this works, lol.

Ahh yes, the good old “there is never room for nuance because it threatens my black & white view of the world which I cling to for comfort and validation” argument.

It’s funny because one of these GM sites had an article featuring it recently, but Boondock Saints, hands down. Several of my younger cousins love this movie, and have for years; when I finally saw it a few years ago, I was genuinely taken aback by just how absolutely, irredeemably shitty it was. This is coming from

Might get some hate for this, but I gotta say Forrest Gump.

Feels like this article could have used the input of someone that actually understand taxes.

Framing this as “rich person math” is a little unnecessarily prejudicial. These are all routine activates for any successful small business. If a reasonably successful local auto-shop made a similar purchase no one would call it a “rich person thing”, just a painfully routine business investment.

Don’t listen to the other self righteous jerk. People can change and grow to be better. Your perspective is helpful to this conversation.

I’m OK with being called an idiot. I was an idiot. I’m also nearly 11 years sober, which doesn’t invalidate my misdeeds but at least shows that I did, in fact, address my alcoholism.

I am, to my shame, a 2-time loser. And as such, I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that no system exists outside of full automation that can keep drunks from driving while also not screwing over normal, rational drivers at the same time.

Well i am a journalist, i frequently visit press conferences, and i usually know who’s attending, at least in broad strokes. Surely Liberty Media at least hands him the list of main attendees because a) that’s what press offices do b) i highly doubt that a person like Martin Brundle will know who the person like Megan

Pretty sure F1 has zero need for people like her. There are plenty of rich & famous people who have a passion for F1, and I’m guessing MTS is not one of them or she she would have loved to have spoken up about it. And frankly outside of the USGP, is really not even famous.
