I WANT THOSE SHOES
Bonus like #1: Her costume was pretty cool.
I think BSG is a bit emptied out as a franchise. You can’t do much better than the best episodes of the 2005 series, nor much worse than the worst episodes of the same series (or Galactica 1980).
My long-odds theory on Ruby’s mother is Rose. I can’t imagine they’d go there, but it would definitely tie things together.
Except that this one didn’t have bad writing. It was a good, fun, funny movie.
Sounds like you still need it so hopefully.
My gal and I watched this and straight honest, had no idea Rose was supposed to be trans until we saw all the hate directed towards the episode the following day.
Personal opinion: Heavy handed messaging is sometimes due to bad or clumsy writing. But sometimes, given the times, I would prefer heavy handed messaging than no messaging at all. And from the hate-riddled responses to the episode being flung online like so much orangutan poo, the messaging is needed.
I am not trans, so my opinion is not worth shit, but i liked the scene because it was a subtle way of telling us she’s trans. Not subtle for trans people, of course, but for cis people unfamiliar with deadnaming, it can go over your head. It went over mine, until the grandma started talking and I out two plus two…
Let’s not forget Deadwood, cocksuckers.
Surely you mean the husband from Santa Clarita Diet.
The funny outcome here is Pascal being cast as Doctor Doom and playing him behind a mask.
Strikes work, people.
“Untitled Occult Detective Story
I know it doesn’t fit the naming convention set for this style of droid by BD-8, but I vote they give them the names HU-E, DU-E, and LU-E.
Yeah seems like everything else that already exists. What would make it different - which is really just a matter of time - is if the cable companies bundled all the streaming services together and offered unlimited access to them all for a cheaper cost (negotiated licensing/ contracts) with a single login/device.…
(Raises hand) I care about it. I’ve quite liked it with Ahsoka because it’s given me the option to watch the show the soonest its available, and not have to spend the day dodging spoilers from folks who have the attitude that if you don’t watch it right as it airs then you don’t deserve to be anywhere on the internet.
Better option: Pathfinder 2e. It’s everything good about 3.5 and 4 married together.
