Doesn't terrify me at all. But they capped the liability amount, and there hasn't been a single one of these things built with private money withou requiring government guarantees. Private gain, public loss. And *that* is why I get pissed at nuclear (and it's supporters) - it hasn't shown itself to be self

Nope. It's already outlawed as genitalia, which is a reproductive part. Masturbating exposes this. The breast isn't used in reproduction, but only in nutrition. Most people conflate the breast function with sex function for some reason. (I mean, I see why, obviously, but it's about the furthest thing from sexual

My point on the cable companies was that initially we were paying for content, and then we paid for content AND had to watch commercials. With the Walmart example, we got used to thinking about in a certain way, and then that way was no longer true, but many people continued to think of them in the old way as an

Do you remember when cable first came out, there were no commercials, just blank spots. The reason was that we were paying for the content, therefore no commercials were needed and that was used as one of the value propositions for the service. Walmart used to be the Buy American company, too. Things change.

Sorry, there is harm with peeing. Ammonia smell, stickiness, corrosion. There isn't anything that affects the public except the seeing. The reaction seeing engenders has nothing to do with the act of breastfeeding and everything to do with the internal reactions machinery of the person seeing it.

You're ignoring the numbers, the cost factors I've mentioned and the fact that other places reduce cost (however they are doing it) with essentially the same lifestyle. They pay me to pay attention to the numbers, not the ideology, otherwise none of my projects would ever have been successful. They didn't give a

After my second child, we use the 5 second rule for food on the floor, or else we'd have to throw most everything away. However it does require a relaxed view of what can kill you and more cleaning, or a dog.

You need to adjust for your own circumstance, but in no case would cutting while standing on a stool, even if she were an adult, be responsible or required. That part of the argument doesn't track.

Not only is it good that you're still alive, but it makes cultural sense that it works like that. The 45,000 who die every year because the US can't get its head out of its ass about healthcare aren't so lucky. I can only hope that I'm not one of those unfortunates someday.

Strunk and White for the win!

I get your point, but Canada is not that different from the US health choice wise, and their care cost is less and they cover everyone.

It's rare, yes, but it's mostly a result of "we didn't think of that" for where the thing is.

That *is* nice. But the reason that works is that even when it covers everyone, it's only half the cost as percent of GDP. So there's more there than just "fellow taxpayers" helping.

Maggot Therapy is something that is useful. Sometimes. On another planet. Far away from me.

Don't be surprised if you become labeled "Evil Uncle RoswellMus" after giving that to the kids. I take my own label as a badge of honor. ;)

include @Curves @Neandy, too.

Don't forget the little factoid that we also pay the most for our stellar ranking. 16% of GDP and climbing. And we don't cover everyone. So-called "free market" at its finest.

Yes, that must be why they bury them 15 feet underground when they die.

Ah, good point. No Mars mission planning for v1gizmodo, then.

Earth diameter 13,000 miles? Which earth we talking about here?
