That is the exact question I’ve been asking myself for a long time. I loved Fable 2 and thought I would love Fable 3, but something felt off. I think it started with the menu shenanigans of having to go into that nexus space each time you wanted to adjust even the smallest thing. It felt very much the same from Fable

You get the beer.

I would agree, but with the stipulation that he forgets to implement anything from Fable 3. Fable 1 and 2 were good fun, but 3 just had so many problems that cannot be overlooked. I still, to this day, try to boot it up once a year and try to soldier through it but I just cannot do it. I get to a certain point pretty

My guess is some sort of new IP, bookended by announcements of Fallout 4 DLC and more Doom stuff. They have at least those safe bets to announce and get people excited about, and it will make introducing some new game more likely to be hyped.

Thanks guy, got it queued up now!

I have never really enjoyed any of these Tom Clancy-branded games since the earlier Splinter Cells, but when the huge suite of games came in a humble bundle I decided to jump in to mixed views on each of the bundled games. I did get a Beta key for the Division though, a game I paid hardly any attention to in the lead

I played DD obsessively on 360, but never really beat the Everfall content because I didn’t want it to end. Got it on PC, because of course, and finally blistered my way through to the ending of OH BOY did I enjoy it. This game is wacky, goofy and all sorts of preposterous. There’s lore there, for those of the Dark

As of this GWG I will officially have paid nothing to play three GoW games. On top of some of the other great game offerings, I am really happy I stuck around with at least my Xbox 360 for as long as I have.

This is a tough game to recommend. I bought it on 360 when Dark Arisen came out and got really frustrated initially. I was but a peasant looking for things like fast travel and intuitive design, which this has really neither of (I’ve heard that DA did make fast travel much easier, which isn’t saying all that much).

Just got back from seeing it for the first time and I’ll definitely be seeing it a second and maybe third time. It’s all the things you described here in the article: the best parts of the original trilogy that have taken some spins to create interesting arcs. I was not overly impressed with JJ Abrams adaptation of

Really interesting read. Have to agree that what makes a “re-make” like this is consistency. FF VI is a great game that holds up to this day, but most of the time this style of re-make and re-package is aimed at the audience that has already experienced it. We are used to the art of the original medium and expect much

Man, I always thought Kojima was some sort of immortal or something, but the gray in his beard really shows his age. It’s a good look, though!

I really loved Ex Machina. It was totally not the kind of movie I thought it was going to be, and right off the bat they hit you square in the jaw with “Yeah, we’ve already done the AI thing, now what’s the next step?” I thought it was a pretty neat spin on consciousness and existence for AI other than “Do I feel a

I invested some time/money/etc into an alright gaming PC this past summer, but am still interested in one of the consoles. I’m most interested in the PS4 for Until Dawn and Bloodborne, but other than those two are there any exclusives people can recommend to convince me of the investment?

You really have to train your mind for it though. I got in the habit way back in Oblivion and every Bethesda game since then I’ve just opened the map, fast traveled and voila! Taking the time to immerse yourself is super rewarding. I can see all the critics of this and every Bethesda game having really solid points,

Now majorly unhyped. The only thing that attracted me to this project was that it was going to be in its entirety, playing through the story in mostly the way it played out in the original.

It’s well tread territory in sci-fi to debate about synth and android tech, but Fallout 4’s take on it was fresh in some ways. The BoS mantra of collecting, hoarding tech and destroying opposition really contrasted nicely with the revelations about the Institute here. My first character I sided with the Institute

Mods have really made me enjoy the settlement system of Fallout 4. Lots of really neat mods out already that increase settlement limits, add some new items, and can get rid of some the scrap you normally can’t get rid of. Thankfully I decided to go PC on this one.

I made ample use of the carriages in Skyrim. They were pretty much everywhere and actually added a little immersiveness to the fast travel system.

Pro tip! Always learning. Thanks!
