Ok, that’s AWESOME.
Ok, that’s AWESOME.
I love the sportback, and honestly have wondered if it’d be possible to come up with an equivalent for other cars of similar vintage...
I didn’t think you could do subtle crocodile OR vegemite...
I’m a fan of the 80s digital weirdness, and even I think that’s abysmal.
I know, right?!? The Porsche model is a thing of beauty, unlike their current ‘sedan’...
As effective as Tesla’s cars have been, I’m pretty sure any company that isn’t seriously working out an electric option is shooting themselves in the foot, long-term.
Agreed. Also, not sure if it’s just the cold medicine talking, but I really like the semi-subtle ‘6’ badging behind the grille... It’s both subdued and really not, and it seems fitting for such an ostentatious car.
Whaddaya mean, ‘minus the very 80's striping’? It’s an 80's car. Own it. The striping is kind of awesome, IMHO...
Sure, clean those too. And turn signals, brake lights... Really just all the lights. If it’s glass, or it lights up, clean it. They aren’t sensors, but they are good to keep clean.
There are non-intel macs still around? Wow...
The list if you drive an older car like me:
I want one. That thing is awesome!
I forgot to get the snow tires swapped on my 944 (first year with one in Colorado, and first time I’ve had snows for one) and was ‘that guy’ who blocked a lane of a major (non-highway) road for 20 minutes because the car wouldn’t go up the hill, nor would it go back down due to other traffic. Got a push from a couple…
No, not usually worth the effort. Yes, wear is going to be accelerated, but for such a short time that it’s hardly worth it. Keep in mind that even during freak warm snaps like you’re describing, it’s usually still plenty cold at night, too.
They last equally long in cooler conditions. Much like how summer tires are too hard when it’s really cold out, the rubber compound in winter tires gets overly soft when it’s staying above maybe 60 consistently. There’s not a safety concern- they drive just great even then - but the wear is greatly accelerated.
Also, there needs to be a Mile-High Jalopnik karting event out here in Colorado...
(thus ruining its resale value forever, sorry Carl)
Hey, a rare case where the sequel is better!
They made a sequel to Alien Green?!?
As long as you never actually *used* the roof rack, why not?
