I feel I have had this work to my advantage. White male, shoes off, belt off, pockets empty BEFORE getting to the front. “Here sir, let me guide you to the old school metal detector line with nobody in it”

Lol. Yeah I didn’t think there was any way, but I don’t see Apple changing course and popping in a dedicated desktop GPU. There just isn’t enough space unless they make the computer larger.
Completely agree that it is overkill at 27”. I don’t see the benefit of 8k in an iMac. At current size it’s just overdone, and personally a larger screen isn’t optimal (two 24-28” side by side displays would be better). Plus, I think the mobile GPU in the iMac would be struggling to push that display.
Considering how close you sit to an iMac, you’d see the difference way before 60”. That’s roughly 146 ppi
Gawker sites grey comments at first to ensure quality to some extent. If somebody who is un-greyed replies or stars your post, it will be un-greyed. For perma un-grey, just keep posting and eventually a gawker editor will take notice.
I will say, the “at fault” system actually keeps insurance rates lower than in a no-fault system, contrary to the possible fraud. Plus, I have been legitimately rear ended twice, and it is nice to not have your insurance go up because somebody hit you. No system is perfect though, and I really don’t see it as being a…
Nope. White english speaking woman, most likely in her 30s.
California is an at fault state. So, if you are not at fault your insurance doesn’t go up. Also in CA, if you are rear ended, it is 100% the fault of the person who hit you.
I sold almost my entire Jordan collection on eBay 18 months ago. Every single pair had been worn, and each pair sold for more than I paid for them. My pair of Jordan VII Bordeauxs I purchased for $150 in 2011, worn them 12 times or so, and sold them for $300. It's freaking crazy.
Unfortunately I rear ended somebody a couple months ago and I’m pretty sure it was fraudulent. Traffic was moving about 20 mph on the highway and this woman literally just dead stopped for no reason. I should have been able to stop, but it was just so unexpected since traffic was moving and I could clearly see past…
Yeah that one dead on collision definitely cracks a panel.
The problem with a straw is that you end up burning the shit out of your throat, instead of your tongue, if the coffee is too hot. And your throat doesn’t seem to be as heat tolerant as your tongue.
I always just have them text me a code
Wrong unlock. You are confusing carrier lock with bootloader lock. Carriers must allow you to take your phone to other carriers (carrier unlock) once you have paid off your phone or your contract is over. (2 years for most people). They don’t have to let you bootloader unlock ever for any reason.
Sure, they are more satisfied with in person support, but if they aren’t actually going to the store that doesn’t help. Maybe you are right and it will help with customer retention, but I have a feeling they just invested in an antiquated model that isn’t going to pay off.
If you buy it for AT&T or Verizon it will not be rootable. Guaranteed.
You are making an assumption that the extra retail locations will be profitable enough to offset costs. Consumer trends are continuing to move more towards online shopping, and away from brick and mortar.
Mobile phones are the only reason Radio Shack survived for so long. A mobile phone contract delivers $175-$300 of back end revenue to the store. It’s a huge revenue source for all the struggling brick & mortars.
RadioShack is officially taking down Sprint too*
Completely agree with you. Soundcloud’s heavy handed copyright enforcement ruined what made Soundcloud so great. Live sets? Mixes? Mash-Ups? Bootlegs? Not anymore....
