the fact that this ever became a political issue is so disheartening to me. I’m not SURPRISED in the slightest, mind you. I’m just pissed about it. 

I still remember what his Giants’ defense did in Super Bowl XXV against the Bills. The Bills hung 51 on the Raiders the week before, and were running the famous K-gun offense, and Belichick just rushed two and basically dropped nine and made the Bills earn every single yard down the field. It must have been maddening…

You can get notifications that provide links which take you to the conversation directly, but most people either just check the web page or the app version of it on your phone.

It’s like...it’s fun to use, but I don’t get why we use it at my company. We’re a massive multimedia company that isn’t even remotely hip, ha.

We use it at work, and I’m 41. It’s not anything crazy, it’s just a chat application/site where your conversations are preserved and you can have group “channels” or private conversations. But yeah, the article really should have explained what the hell Slack was in a little more detail.
