This would be great for students I think because you have a totally mobile platform from which to work - and then you can access everything without having to sync from other desktops thru the online portals - however for me as a web designer I do not see this replacing my work computer ANY TIME SOON.

@mr_peeks: I ended up installing it to my regular computer off a USB stick because I thought my dvd image was bad. Lifehacker has several posts on how to put win7 on a usb stick for install! #windows7

So far so good. I upgraded this past weekend from XP - I bought a new portable hard drive to backup everything and the install (after having to wait about 30 minutes for the language selection box to show up) was painless.
