Or video game (Mass Effect) or long running book series (Harry Potter and eventually A Song of Ice and Fire).

I also feel better about it the day after. As an idea the ending works very well and fits with the tone of the show and the themes it has expressed all along. Thinking about it from the characters perspective, it is really sweet and romantic. But in execution it feels so rushed and weird. I don't want to think about…
My family went on a cruise and I had a lot of flashbacks when I read A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again later. Pretty much spent a lot of time in my room or wandered around marveling at the cheesiness of it all. Big difference: David Foster Wallace had the courage to go to his assigned dinner with strangers…
Or replacing "wand" with "wang":
Yeah I always thought it was weird that people complain way more about Lily or Ted being bad people while Barney is constantly deceiving women into sleeping with him. I eventually chalked it up to his character getting better jokes and NPH making him likable.
I'm with you on Lost having the best intro. Sets the tone of the show so well. I think it had a lot to do with me getting into it. That and the scene where The Others take Walt.
Aren't all these pretty indebted to James Bond and the animated title sequences that were more common in the 50s and 60s? Like this one:
Most people from 2000s era EGM, 1up, CGW, and Gamespot and just about every site and publication had people go into the gaming industry. It seemed like an epidemic for awhile. It always made me kind of sad to see them, especially the good writers, often go into PR, marketing, community management jobs. Kind of going…
Yeah I guess it sounds like a really harsh criticism but I liked the album based on listening to it once. Most of the songs are kind of wistfully sad and the production makes them kind of beautiful. But then there was some areas where there were annoying effects and that is what really bothered me. Like some of the…
Maybe my outrage was that he kept moving new units to his attacking territories. I feel like my rage was justified but I can't remember how.
I am not proud admit that is how I've ended a few board games. One was totally justified though. I was playing Risk and my cousin chain-conquered a huge chunk of my territory which I found out later was against the rules. You shouldn't be able to take over half of Asia in one turn Tyler!!
I played a game of Star Wars Monopoly recently and we played it by the rules. The game only lasted a mere 1 to 1.5 hours. Auctioning is awesome. Also found out recently that you can create a housing shortage since you are only supposed the use the ones given to you. Such a better way to play the game. Still wasn't…
I was thinking of the Front Porch episode which is just what Lily imagined the future would be like so you could still be right. The internet tells me storytelling Bob Saget is the furthest in the future we've seen Ted (if that is Ted)
This is an interesting theory but I feel like there easily could be something in the series that contradicts it somewhere. We see Ted pretty far into the future. It seems he has his first child not too long after meeting the mother. That would make him in his 50s maybe early 60s in the time he (or Bob Saget) is…
I haven't played The Stanley Parable, only the demo. I figured that was representative of the full game and said, "This is not for me." I felt I got the joke and I didn't like it. Obviously that is not the final game and I will probably buy it at some point and make a better judgement.
I'd call The Simpsons and Twin Peaks two of the best TV series of all time even if they are largely pretty bad.
I don't know another franchise with films as good as The Godfather I & II. Also I'm not really judging on consistency but on achievement. They could keep making Godfather movies and I'd still say The Godfather.
The Godfather. This is an easy question.
That is more or less what I was afraid of. That and it being all a bunch really easy references to other games and such. I'll probably still pick it up when it is on sale because I like the aesthetic.
Yes that is exactly what I'm suggesting. They're already in a church. Why not just copy the ending of another show?
