Has Jim Carrey ever watched Joe Biden? It feels like his “senile guy” take is based on Joe Rogan’s take on Biden, which is a pretty uninformed one. When Lorne said about Carrey’s take in interviews before the premiere, “Hopefully it’s funny,” you could tell he wasn’t confident in it, and there’s a good reason. It’s

This was a really informative piece. Thanks! I’m looking forward to now checking out the podcast.

It’s from 2010. Paolo Rivera does kind of moodier artwork. His art on Daredevil (volume 3) with his dad inking him (and Mark Waid writing) worked really well for me. It’s a great series. And much better than the Spider-Man story!

My guess is Peter goes to Strange less because he’s looking for a mentor and more because he wants him to cast a spell that makes everyone forget he’s Spider-Man. Like he did in the “One Moment in Time” story...

Trump, and especially Trumpism (corruption, white nationalism, propaganda, incompetence) is not going away without a fight.

As part of that “Step 7: Don’t just stand there! Do something!” idea...

Man, they really did a number on Butcher this season. He went from being such a charming asshole who I was rooting for last season to completely insufferable this whole season. I’d rather spend time with any of the other Boys and most of the villains (even the Deep!)

She’s a really great actress. Glad she gets to keep playing the role!

But how do they feel about Mounds? Almond Joy’s got nut, Mounds don’t!

And the winner for the initial worst take is the Senator already under investigation for profiting from the virus...

As I understand it from this article, the RNC would get to nominate someone else (likely Pence) but they’d still have trouble getting Pence’s name on the ballot in time in many states.

It can come from an overprotective producer and not the actors. The actors may have no idea of the rule even existing but the producers find it easier if the guest stars don’t “bother” the talent. On 90210, Shannon Doherty was known for being difficult, so maybe that’s part of it.

Imagine if Michelle Obama said “who gives a fuck about the Christmas stuff and decorations”? Evangelical conservatives would be up in arms and FOX News would make it the next front in their made-up “war on Christmas”.

Thanks for the clarification!

Possibly a dumb question but where do I find the aftershow? All I could find when I did a search was the Prime Rewind show about the last season.

Also, if you can afford to do so, please give to Democratic candidates who are running against some of the Senators rushing to confirm the Supreme Court nominee even after saying they would never do such a thing.

I was trying to say that of course nothing about Johns actions as a comic book writer mean that he couldn’t have still been abusive in real life, but by framing things (poorly) as I did in the first paragraph it came off as me downplaying Johns’ alleged abusive actions. So thanks for calling me out on it.

Quite possibly! But yes, I should’ve framed it including this perspective. I made a mistake, so thanks for pointing it out.

It’s a little ironic that it was comic book writer Geoff Johns who first put Cyborg on the Justice League as a founding member when he relaunched the comic in 2011 (with the amazing team of Jim Lee and Scott Williams doing the art.) Meaning that without Johns, there’s no Cyborg part for Fisher to play in the movie and

And winning!
