Went and found the Soviet cartoon. Pretty cool. Thanks for the heads up.

I think it can be hilarious at times. It’s a little repetitive, maybe, but it’s such a great bit. I like everyone involved in the movie, so fingers crossed...
Her full quote... “Once again we have had a violent mob of migrants attempt to enter the United States illegally by attacking our agents with projectiles. As has happened before — in this and previous administrations — our personnel used the minimum force necessary to defend themselves, defend our border, and…
That was the original again. You’re right that this is the 4th version (as there was Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds, which was a fun event series with the other three.)
The Geoff Johns Legion was off to a great start but then ended up being way too brief. Not sure if it’s because Levitz wanted the book or Johns had other commitments.
I think the last issue of Doomsday Clock (#11) kind of showed what happened to the old Legion continuity...
It’s odd to me that Late Night with Seth Meyers never gets nominated. They’ve been killing it since the 2016 election.
The Yoko Ono one sounds great. Much appreciated for the heads up!
I don’t see it either, but it used to be a thing in the music critic press a while back (80s-90s). Kind of like how people think Mike Knopfler ripped off Richard Thompson (basically another case where one person/group blew up commercially and the other never did despite being great, too). Here’s an article I found…
Yeah, they often are said to have taken what Television was doing but made it much more commercial. I think the timing is a little too close for that (the Cars were already on their way), but apparently they were on the same label and once the Cars blew up, Television got no attention.
I never realized he didn’t hit success until into his 30s. Which is common in most careers, but not rock stars. Especially back then. Pretty cool.
Co-wrote it with Brooks and others. Brooks wanted him to star in it, but apparently he was considered too risky at the time (from drug arrests, according to the studio, but may have been an excuse). Cleavon Little, of course, nailed the role.
Yeah, it was silly. They should’ve found a way to bring over the Ultimate Universe Nick Fury (the one who was modeled on Sam Jackson in the first place) to the regular (616) Marvel Universe and just have him take over SHIELD from the old Nick. Or even just kept Nick the same as always and not worry about it.
I actually thought Biden did well for the first half. But his answer near the end, with the mention record players, was definitely a rambling mess. I do think it could be in part his age, or just his decades-old habit of fumbling when speaking.
Thanks for this. Please keep bringing it up.
Any advice on deals for switching from Android to an Iphone? Does Apple incentivize this? Thanks!
And because Obama pushed him not to run.
Where’d you read it was in play? I VERY much hope you’re right. But from what I’ve read it seems it’s all going to come down to Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin (and possibly, just maybe, Arizona.)
Huh. I’d much rather she pick Booker or Harris. Both are much more inspiring for me. But to each their own.
