You think her peers will feel she shouldn’t get an Oscar because she believes her friend’s side of a decades-old controversy over someone she’s never met? I don’t see it.
Ronan believes his father molested his sister, so I’m guessing he’s suffered as well (and on the more positive side, it might’ve in part inspired him to do his amazing #metoo reporting.)
You really didn’t like “Video Games” when it came out? It was a great single with a really atmospheric sound. And while her sound hasn’t progressed too much, a lot of people related to her melancholy, and embrace of an old style but lyrics about modern topics.
This made me smile. Thanks!
What an amazing talent and by all accounts an even greater person. Through Rhoda she showed the world a different way of being a modern woman... smart, brash, kind, hilarious. RIP to a tremendous talent.
Yeah, it’s odd. A headline about about how he gushed over his daughter and less so his son might be something to mock (if you’re ignoring context and purposefully looking to trash him and thus are kind of awful) but I don’t really get it either.
If she did get fired and is pissed about it, maybe she’ll dish a lot more now? This seems an opportunity. Go, Jezebel, go!
Romero definitely has the best moustache. Love that he refused to shave it for the show. That’s the kind of crazy move the Joker would pull.
I love Ditko and agree that without him there’s no way in hell anyone would remember the character today. There’s also an anger and slight arrogance to early Peter (fitting for a teenage kid who has been picked on a lot) that I think Ditko brought to the book. Plus 1,000 other things he came up with (the look, the…
Yeah, but I can’t imagine the writers are getting paid much for it by the site. So volume is important.
Lawrence of Arabia, the restored version, is 216 minutes. But that includes the intermission time (and the intermission is used to signal the end of Part One and leave you excited for Part Two.)
You’ve been misled.
In Son of Origins, Stan gives Kirby credit for creating Silver Surfer (as in the he tells the story of how he was surprised to see the character when the pages for that issue of Fantastic Four came in.) So a mixed bag?
Yeah, Stan wasn’t perfect, but he did go out of the way to give all the creators of each comic a credit (something DC did not do at the time). And he’s the one who nicknamed Kirby the “King” of comics from the beginning of the Marvel age.
I think it’s more a complaint about the site using more and more video rather than written articles (see the recent video for “Random Roles” that used to be a fantastic read.) Maybe?
I like her a lot, but I fear due to her age and sex the GOP will try hard to turn her into another Hillary (who I phone banked a lot for and would love to have had as my president).
I thought he grew up to be the Thing?
