It being a throwaway line would seem to make the line stronger, no? Unless I’m missing something.

I think it’s in part because “Man in the High Castle” doesn’t regularly depict Jews and Roma and other groups being murdered en masse. But Confederacy would likely have to depict ongoing slavery, and that would be unpleasant to watch with anyone behind the camera, but with guys who haven’t always been sensitive in…
A government official trying to publicly shame and/or send a mob after private citizens due to their differing political beliefs is wrong. I don’t care which side you are on (I’m a lifelong Democrat myself.) Additionally, it is also politically stupid as it will give Republicans a rationale for making donations…
Probably, but on the other hand it would be hard to turn down a second giant pile of money.
Maybe they know their lead actress wants out of her contract ASAP and so are coming up with a backup show for the same audience?
Overall the reporting is still excellent. As it is in the Washington Post. They messed up, as they will continue to do from time to time, but we’re lucky to have them in these times.
You’re probably right — she’s much more popular — but I thought they might be saving her for a movie.
A regular duck has no been with a Mexican mouse, but this duck is just plain DAFFY!
(Sorry.)
I think that would need to be animated for all the guest stars and fights. Which would also make it closer to the show that seemed to inspire Dan Slott’s She-Hulk series, “Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law” (that’s not a knock, I LOVED Slott’s She-Hulk.)
Or maybe had he had 30 more seconds he would’ve ended up ten feet away and turned to dust rather than sucked into the Upside Down? In which case she’s the best!
The tone got much broader this season. I think people were willing to enjoy it as a take on ‘80s movies that were also broad in tone.
Hopefully he’ll attend anger management class and be someone I can root for again?
I don’t know if by a wide margin but while it couldn’t be as fresh feeling as the first season, I thought it deepened the characters a lot, and outside that one episode had the strongest writing of the series so far.
If they introduce another number sibling I want it to be Twelve.
Ah well. Thanks for trying to get us a deal!
It said I couldn’t use that promo code for my purchase. Odd!
Great article. I really enjoyed the books (House of X more so as it’s about characters I care about), but hope the text pages are used to a minimum going forward. They read a bit like a D&D manual or Wikipedia page, and that’s not really how I like my stories told.
House of X is still just the letter x, but in Powers of X the x is for ten. So... HOX and Po10!
In case anyone finds their way to this article and needs to talk to someone...
