She doesn’t claim to have invented the hair bonnet in the article. She just claims to have made a fancy one as that’s what she liked, and other people then wanted to buy one too. Which is odd in my eyes (and sure deserving of some teasing), but their choice. She’s a successful businesswoman apparently, that’s it.

In the original article she talks about how family members wore similar bonnets for generations. She never claims to have invented it in the article. Just that she made a fancier one that she liked more and other people do too, apparently, as they’re willing to pay what sure seems a stupid amount of money for it.

I think it’d be tough to pin the blame for that one on the third writer hired late in the game to try to fix the third act who was then quickly replaced by another writer because they had other commitments. But in any case, he does seem to have better luck with TV rather than movies. Different type of storytelling,

I thought Millie Bobby Brown would be Sprite but looks like someone else got the part.

That’s funny, I just saw him leaving a diner in L.A. and thought he was looking fit!

How bummed are they that they let Marvel TV make that (terrible) Inhumans show? The Eternals are interesting but from the big Kirby concepts, I always found the Inhumans way more fun.

Building towards Celestials judging the fate of the Earth in some future Avengers movie could be very cool, though (the story from

Apparently she knew the product had been around tried other versions of it, but wanted one made of less synthetic material (not sure what that means or why, but seems to be the main selling point.) From the main article...

The movie gave us this great SNL sketch...

To nerd out a bit, the Loki who got away in Endgame was from an alternative timeline, no? So how does he get to the main MCU one? Or does it not matter and we are watching one where he got away and up to no good in that timeline (one where I assume Thanos eventually came looking for that Infinity Stone, or Loki turned

Ali played Cottonmouth in Marvel’s “Luke Cage” series on Netflix. Looks like they’re never gonna bring the Netflix heroes into the movies, but if they did, and Cage had a cameo, be fun for him to mistake Blade for Cottonmouth. (Or maybe that’d be cheesy, but still a fun nod. Maybe they can do it in the comics.)

As an American Jew, it’s deeply offensive to have Trump smear these women using his supposed love of Jews as part of his argument, and it’s equally offensive for Miller to use his Jewishness to defend American concentration camps.

She did a few episodes of “Cheers” where her character dated Sam.

The end of the article you posted at least shows she owns it somewhat and seems remorseful.  Thanks for the link!

You can wait for the full season to air, sign up for CBS All Access for a month, binge it, and cancel your subscription.  Done!

Does this mean in 20 years Seth MacFarlane will make a show about his aged “The Orville” character?

Didn’t see it. But I liked The Leftovers.

Yeah, this is a confusing article. More helpful (at least it would be for me) would be an article saying which old episodes I should watch to understand the new season. (Assuming I don’t want to watch them all.)  Any tips?

I’m excited it’s not just a remake of the film or adaptation of the comic. Lindeloff is a fantastic writer (yes, despite that frustrating last season of “Lost”), and so I’m definitely intrigued.
