That was fun. Makes me wish I could see his prequel edit.

Anyone have tips on importing my Itune playlists to Spotify? I think you used to be able to do it but seems to have gone away at some poit.
If you think their interface is bad, try browsing on Amazon Music. Such a mess.
Nobody in the world is interested in becoming current Venezuela (certainly not the Venezuelans). But turns out most Americans want a fairer tax system and health care. I guess you’ve gotten me to respond twice to your wild statements, so well done anonymous commentator, well done.
You’re really saying that because six weeks into being in Congress she hasn’t passed meaningful legislation she’s washed up? She’s brought national attention to issues her constituents care about. That’s more than most other members of Congress this far into their first term, let alone some in their whole careers. …
Going from the source material, the comic, the Purple Man story (going just by the much less silly Killgrave on the show) was definitely the highlight. Not shocked they ran out of juice, but a bummer.
I think you’re right in that there’s not only twitter but The Daily Show and every talk show monologue doing Weekend Update style political jokes. But SNL has an advantage as they can have people playing the politicians themselves. Ideally that would let them do different kinds of jokes than the other shows... yet,…
“When the Stars Go Blue”, “Firecracker”, “New York”, all on the “Gold” album are pretty great, and the latter became a bit of an anthem for NYC after 9/11. There’s a cover of “When the Stars Go Blue” by the Corrs with Bono of U2 (a duet) that’s really good too, if you like the artists involved.
The stock tanked this past year (and almost 50% drop since September). I assume that calls for a major overhaul. No idea if this is the right way to go, but they likely felt the need to show they were making a massive change. Certainly seems they could’ve given long-time employees a lot more warning and had a more…
Does this mean we can’t listen to “Summer of 69" anymore? Aw man.
Because she blamed AIPAC, a Jewish group, rather than all those who are “pro-Israel” (putting it in quotes because a majority of American Jews don’t care for Bibi but support a two-state solution, that is supportive of Israel AND Palestine.) Christian Evangelicals are much more “pro-Israel” than American Jews (and a…
Some of the leadership of the BDS movement has called for it, thus damaging their whole movement, and hurting the cause of those who want a two-state solution.
Does the United Kingdom have a right to exist? The Church of England, of which their monarch is the head, has bishops with seats in parliament.
Historically it’s meant anti-Jewish. That doesn’t mean you’re incorrect but I don’t know if it matters given the common usage (and Webster’s dictionary) is not inclusive of everyone originally from that region.
Of course not the same, but also not what’s being discussed here. A sitting member of Congress seemed to say that American foreign policy is based on Jewish money, which is very close to spreading the old, virulently anti-Semitic trope of rich Jews secretly controlling the world.
“Chronicle” was really good for what it was. It felt like a fresh voice at the time and I totally understand him getting work after that. And if you’re a comics fan, his “Superman: American Alien” was really terrific. I couldn’t get into Dirk Gently despite loving Adams in general.
Lockjaw is from the Inhumans, not the Defenders (at least not the classic group.) Although likely hung out with the Defenders at some point, as tons of characters popped up in the old book! And yeah, Kamala with Lockjaw was a super fun combo.
I thought the second season was better than the first, and was hoping that trend could continue in a third season (or third half season as I think they were all short?) But yeah, a missed opportunity given the cast.
