I’m a fan of the show, but which season was “some of the best things on TV”? Of course it’s subjective and you clearly like it more than I do, but I feel there’s a lot of better TV out there these days. Maybe not on network TV, though.

I wonder if he’s was trying to promote his movie, which I think has a similar plot (bad thing happens to a loved one, he becomes violent revenge machine), and so he thought it’d be cool to make up the story to show how he related to his character, not realizing it was incredibly racist to a) make it about a black male

Or five minutes of the Amazon Wheel of Time show!  (Amazon wants to own all the fantasy worlds apparently.)

They were as dull as the game so far.  Man, I miss this guy...

“Russian Doll” also sounds like “RePlay”, a comedy series on the go90 app (Verizon’s failed attempt to do original programing) that no one had a chance to see but was really good.

Yeah, they’re the same guys who wrote the Deadpool movies, so I’m excited for it.

Are these meals worth doing if you live alone? 30 minutes (plus prep?) seems a lot!

I’m a fan of the podcast Slate’s “Employee of the Month”, which sounds similar as it covers how famous people do their work (and is funny, too.) They’ve gotten some amazing people over the years. Creative folks (like John Hamm, Lin-Manual Miranda), but political types, too (Rachel Maddow, Gloria Steinem, etc.). “Good

Haha. Or at least given some classic comics! 😄

“Ordinary People” is fantastic. It’s hard to watch over and over again though, because of the subject matter. I feel Scorsese got robbed much more for not winning for “Goodfellas” (“Dances with Wolves” is a well enough made crowd-pleaser, but it sure as hell is no “Goodfellas”.)

Hart is exhausting at this point. I know they’re thinking of no host for the Oscars this year, but I think the answer is easy... Avengers Assemble! Charming people from movies people love, and easy promotion for Disney on the network they own. Plus “The Avengers Save the Oscars” is a great headline.

Good point!

Millions of Americans have health care due to Nancy’s ability to get the ACA passed in the House. Thousands of lives have been saved. She’s a great Speaker if not always a great speaker, but I’m glad she’s in charge.
