Great piece. Thanks for this. Does the Times go into the possible legal ramifications for Trump from the reporting? I don’t think his political base will care (hard to get people to even notice with the Kavanaugh nomination happening), but hoping the courts do.
It’s mocking the Atlantic article by Benjamin Wittes, even though the original article is very thoughtful and well done and written by someone with the reputation to actually (just maybe) make Republicans and conservative Democrats consider not voting for Kavanaugh.
The Atlantic article was a thoughtful, extremely well written piece that might actually convince Republicans (or more conservative Democrats) to vote against the nomination. Odd thing to mock.
I never understood why for the third Spider-Man movie they didn’t use the Ultimate Spider-Man origin for Venom. It avoids aliens, and even fits with the parent/child themes of the movie. The movie had bigger issues of course (and sure, some stuff that worked) but that always seemed a no-brainer to me.
