A Price Of Games Journalism

It doesn’t matter which company is mad at us today, or which companies get mad at us in the future. You’ll continue

1991

Becuase developers in 1991 were definitely making games on the scale of AC:S.

Well, there wasn’t internet back then, so no obvious means of patching it after the release... And they weren’t making tens of millions of dollars worth triple A titles which take a lot more time.

No one is playing Star Citizen.

Everyone I know used to be really excited for it and was looking forward to playing it. Now he just keeps upping the requirements to play and even changed the engine. It just seems to keep going on and on forever. It’s become a running gag on teamspeak about how it will never come out while we are all still living.

Shits such a scam and people just keep throwing money at it. Amazing really.

Hey look it’s that game I’m invested in that won’t come out in my lifetime. Awesome.

I have a thing with russian games. They often have great and amazing concepts but the execution is often flawed, presented horribly or just buggy to hell and back. I could list a dozen russian games that were brilliant in the feature list, and not so much when you got to actually playing the game.

This is what I don’t get about people saying the game isn’t original enough. If that’s the case, then what game is? It sounds like Dying Light combines genres pretty successfully, which is original in and of itself.

NOOOOOOO Don't remind me! I was almost over it!

Not only that, but you're paying to test the game for the console peasants.

No, he looks really bad. Good effort?

Jesus, your herald looks terrible xD

I wouldn't mind doing the filler stuff as much (I avoid them atm) if the core combat mechanic was fun. As it stands, it's like playing an MMO for me, and I'm not a fan of those. If the combat gameplay was either more geared towards the tactical view or more geared towards action and movement, I would enjoy it much
