Yes, Paris was nothing but craters after the civil war. SOME buildings were new, while others were rebuilt upon from what was left over. Its backstory is all in the game lore logs you pickup. If anyone bothers to read them like I do...

Neat + Cool = Bad game?

Yeah the direction and camera angles are a bit locked down but I can see why. It has some nice vistas. They do need to give us a little more control over that though. And this would probably make for a great movie ir even TV show.

Flawed but fluid is spot on. It needs polish, but when it works, it works well. Especially when you finish a combo with a Overload and blow someones memory away. Its very satisfying without feeling like a immoral pixel killer.

Its a great game. Solid graphics, cool story.. and the whole REMIXING of memories is super fun. You're a boring short sided gamer if you dont even like that aspect of gameplay. Combos you can at least customize and control.
