Good point. Probably better fuel economy and has coil packs instead of old school distributor. Still 15 degrees tilted, and known for sludge issues. Pros/cons to each motor, both will outlast us all if maintained.

I agree, it’s much better without that stupid extra black (lipstick).

I guess we’re ignoring the Century?

Correct!

Toyota is the cheap cars,

This is still bothering me

Me too, this car gives me a utility boner and is surprisingly clean. Being a Camry of the right vintage, this thing will last forever and in my eyes, it’s actually pretty good looking. Ditch the gold badging, throw on a set of good dampeners (not lowering springs!), and change all the fluids, drive for another 10

We have a 2000 6 cyl Camry in the family and the 6 gets surprisingly good mileage, especially driven as Camrys tend to be driven. The mileage is almost as good as the 4 cyl in the real world as it is better matched to the size/weight of the car, though being at altitude in Denver may play a factor. In the older

I am in love.  NP all damn day.

95 Camry? This will outlast the heat death of the universe unless my sister wraps it around a tree (true story, she is fine now).

I am the theoretical buyer that you can’t pinpoint.

These things are the Hiluxes of passenger sedan/wagons. For its page and mileage, this thing is mint.

I miss the days when I could reliably count on autos to depreciate. It’s probably got a couple hundred thousand miles left on it. It’s a Toyota. NP

That’s probably exactly what his system did. Glad to see these idiots get some payback.

Yeah, there are thousands of shops selling shitty “tunes” just like this out there.

^THIS is two-tone. None of this black and gray crap which just looks like cladding. I was about to post similar photos of the F-150, Explorer, and even some cars at the time like Lexus.

These aren’t even true 2 tones, their just black cladding with a black roof, which everyone does already. These are 2 tone

Free market and all that, but they should not have this both ways. If the dealers are going to restrict your ability to sell, then they should be selling at the MSRP without BS add ons. If they want to add a market adjustment and you the buyer can find some sucker who can’t wait and will pay even more, then more power

Toyota offers wool seats, too. Thing is, it’s offered only in the Century limo.
