Well not a new one anyway... importers have been bringing 1st gen Centuries to the US for years. Coincidentally, the first model year of the 2nd gen is now legal for import. The only V12 ever put into production by a Japanese brand. I’m hoping by the time the 2006 model year refresh (6 speed auto vs 4 speed) is legal,

The majority of Crowns are sold with cloth, but I don’t think it is wool.

They’ve been big since 2005.  I worked for a dealer when the 2nd gen was new and parked next to the 1st gen Tundra that was still on sale, the biggest difference was the Tacoma was not length or height, but it was maybe 6" or so narrower.  Considerably larger than the 89 Pickup I learned to drive in.

Mine did.  98 Cherokee Limited with about 120,000 miles and threw a rod through the side of the block and dying immediately.  When I worked at the local Toyota dealer, a woman came in with a 96 Camry that was making a heck of a racket.  The service manager popped the hood and there was a huge hole in the block, but it

Working, wishing I was either sleeping or driving the Supra in my garage

I agree as someone else who is 5'7". We don’t all have Napoleon complexes!

Janice

Glad you appreciated it.  After she retired, she would call me when she ha an issue with her home computer (since that’s what I did at the college) so I got to keep in touch with her and saw her just before Christmas.  I agree about the crossover situation, although I ended up replacing my rotted out F150 with a RAV4

Definitely a singe wide.  Seeing prices like that makes me feel really good about my property value since I have slightly over an acre and a fairly recent double-wide on a foundation that I paid way less for in 2014.  Plus I have an actual garage with room for 3 cars (one is sideways on dollies in the back)

I’m guessing all of the interior is factory original except the flooring in the kitchen, judging by the style of carpet, wallpaper, and cabinetry.

Single wide

I had a former co-worker who had one of these for years. Hers was maroon and if it hadn’t been for the fact that on the college campus we worked on, it would have been flawless. Unfortunately it had dings down both sides (none of it her doing). She drove it until a few years before she retired (at the age of 81) when

No, not in my garage they don’t.  But my area of the state is influenced by WVU and the FBI facility so it’s a little different than most of the state.  The eastern panhandle is close to DC and Baltimore and has a lot of growth and so does the north-central region.  Charleston does Ok, but most of the lower part of

Exactly!  And what about the Teslas (there are some) in WV since there are no Tesla stores in the state because these same lawmakers blocked them?

Sadly quite a few do. The legislature has made them road legal for those who want to go that route, although you can’t drive them on the interstates.

You’d be surprised how many new cars are in WV.  Not at my house, but I know a lot of people who always have new, expensive vehicles in my part of the state. Now when you get into the very rural areas, likely much less common.

And he was previously governor and has relatives who are also politicians in the state.

Sad but true.  Most of the people my area sends to Charleston are somewhat sane, but they are in the minority and being gerrymandered out.

I am one of those people who work remote. I had to look to see how long it had been since I put gas in my RAV4 last time I filled it up. It was a few days shy of a month. I’m also someone who has seen gas as low as .89 in late 90's in my area.

And it looks fine in a Century or Crown, but not as good on leather seats.  Seat doilies aren’t my thing, but I do like that wool upholstery in a Century.
