Had Covid in October and still got the vaccine.  I feel very fortunate that my Covid symptoms were fairly mild, along the lines of a severe cold/mild flu but don’t want to chance it again.  I still have lingering issues with my senses of taste and smell.  Both doses of Moderna knocked me down for a day, but still not

Same here. I have multiple vehicles and don’t put 6,000 miles on them combined though. Heck, during the shutdown last spring into summer they sat so much I never got around to getting the state inspections done and haven’t had a chance since it warmed up.  (My winter DD is fully legal, plus we added another unit to

1990 Camry.  Had 120k on it in 95. Has just under 280k now.  in the last 26 years it has only broken down once.  It may not be fast or fancy, but it is reliable and easy to work on.

the ragtops were gorgeous!

Those were (and might still be on some models) very common in Japan, especially higher end models like the Cedric/Gloria, Toyota Crown, etc.  As far as I know Mazda is the only one to offer swing vents on cars exported to the US.

Since a lot of classic JDM model names are western human names it wouldn’t be too hard, depending on what your tastes are... Nissan - Cedric, Gloria, Laurel to name a few. If you are a Toyota (like me) fan - Cressida, Mark, Cresta, Aristo, Windom, Carina, Celica, etc.

That S40 Crown... Love me some Crowns. I hope by the time the 99-03 models are legal to import, I am in the position to acquire a pair.

Exactly! In a rural state like mine, everyone has to have a car unless they live in one of the larger towns. Even then they can somewhat rely on the busses, which here aren’t that reliable and will only get you to important locations or between other towns, but you likely could still have quite a walk from either end

If you get anything from Sunny Health and Fitness, I highly recommend the extended warranty.  I bought an air walker last year and it broke in December.  They fully refunded it, no questions asked.

Exactly!  My 90 Camry has the 2.0 125ish hp version of that engine and if it were a stick, it would be insanely fun to drive since it and this Celica share a good many underpinnings.

My sister’s coupe was red, but yeah, they made it in quite a few colors, including some bright metallics like teal (early 90's so it was a given)

We did, but it was badged the All-Trac Turbo in the states.  When the next gen with the quad round headlights came out, they stopped importing the GT4 though.

Same.  Signal Yellow SW20 MR2 is still very high on my list of dream cars.

The GT4 was called the All-Trac Turbo in the US market, but they are rare.

I voted nice price.  I personally wouldn’t want the rag top or the auto, but my sister’s first car when we were in college was a 91 coupe this color combo with a manual.  It was a fun little car with the stick since it was light enough even with only 130hp it had plenty of guts.  I kinda wish I had been in the

I have been driving for over 26 years and I have never run out of gas.  But I also generally fill up when I am down to 1/4 tank.  I have had the light come on a few times, but I was also on my way to the nearest gas station at the time.

David, in my soon to be 26 years of driving, the only mistakes I have made were buying the vehicles that weren’t Toyotas. I’ll never buy a Ford or Jeep as a daily again. Next month, I will have had the same 1990 Camry since 1995. It turned over 120,000 miles that day on the way home. It currently sits at just under

But that wasn’t likely the case back then. My folks bought a 4 door 94 new when I was in high school, and every vehicle we had prior to that one of us would ride up front if the passenger seat was free. We usually fought over it and my younger sister often won.  Heck the first car we had when I was a kid with 3 point

Love my cheap Seiko 5!  It’s all I need.

Your eyes do not deceive you.  the second handle is for the rear seat passenger to open the door Although I don’t know why you would ride in the rear if nobody was in the front.
