YES. Cups at night are the bomb.

You can dump/reinsert without washing it, which isn’t ideal but once a day definitely doesn’t hurt. Other women I know take in a little water bottle to give it a rinse. Also, I find they need changing less, but obviously that’s a very individual thing.

Are you talking about the tail, or the actual cup? You can just trim the tail, if that’s bugging you. Otherwise, I’d look into different brands. I hear Diva Cups tend to be pretty long.
