Publicly it was the best, most diplomatic thing he could have said in the immediate election aftermath, no different than Obama or Hillary’s messages.

Justin and Co. has his work cut out for him. All the things his cabinet want to do to improve Canada and Canada’s place in the world are now going to be significantly more difficult. We’re that entwined with the US that pretty much any change in the US political climate means we have to go back to the drawing board.
