On the “fines for not speaking to press”, I have no problem with her skipping out on the press conferences, but I also have no problem with the tournament fining her for it. It’s a great point. What’s weird is that a lot of comedians only feel the need to defend traditionally “offensive” jokes when someone says that the jokes haven’t aged well, but they often ignore the fact that a lot of comedy just doesn’t age well overall. For instance, a rapping grandma.
